I think, between us ladies, we need to understand what we control in a situation like this: Our business. We can't control when guys double book, or have a change in work schedules (or heart), or have emergencies. But there are certain measures a lady can take to minimize NCNS. And enacting some crazy unenforceable cancellation policy is NOT the answer. Threatening to out a person, or to damage a person's reputation (male or female) in this line of business should be punishable in my opinion.
Putting a guy on blast because, in essence, he didn't want to see you isn't the answer either. Granted, there are a few who are serial NCNS, but it wouldn't matter if you made a few changes to the way you set appointments. NCNS once, and pay a deposit to schedule again. Either he's sending it or not. It shouldn't be any skin off your nose if he doesn't. A guy that doesn't respect your time should not be your type of client.
