I agree, you did the right thing by cancelling, but should have stuck with the same method of communication u had used all along. Some providers don't check their pm's all too often, especially those who advertise their number. Many providers only see one or two gent per day & she prob could have found someone to take your spot if you let her know by text.
Also, think of the refs u used, did u ever have to last minute cancel on one of them? If so, that info could have been passed on.
But overall, thank you for protecting the lady, any gents she would have seen after you, and any ladies who would have seen those gents after her.... from strep. We all have to do our part to keep the hobby disease free including colds/flu/strep, etc.
Actually, I like you! I've heard very good things about you from other providers. We are going to have to meet one of these days.
