Would you work for an agency in Singapore?
I've had the discussion with a couple of people about starting an agency in Singapore employing US girls. This is not something I would do (I have enough problems keeping up with my own life) but others have thought about it.
Since most of the girls I know are indies, I'm not sure they'd want to work at an agency, no matter how fairly it was run. On the other hand, maybe US indies would feel more secure traveling to another country if they had someone who would take care of business for them. (Details would have to be arranged in such a way that it doesn't look like international trafficking to the authorities.)
So, ladies...assuming the agency was fair and well-managed, enabling you to earn a nice income with decent no-trouble clients (and no legal worries), would you work for one in another country while staying indie in the US? Just curious, honestly.

Very briefly, your suggestion about working where The Business is legal appeared as an entertaining idea, but almost as quickly, I thought back to the primary reason I became a Companion. I like being with people. For me, that's defined not only as interacting with them, but more importantly, communicating with them. My friends enjoy our BCD time, but everyone knows that those services can be obtained from almost any Provider. I enjoy the pre- and post- talking; I enjoy exchanging e-mails and anticipating what the new client will bring to the table. I've learned unimaginable things from the guys I’ve seen. (Truly. One friend taught me about ‘insider trading’ on the Stock Market and I netted 70K from that experience!) The men are so varied, and they all have had different experiences and bring different perspectives with them (I also suck the brains of my civvie friends dry...)
What I've alluded to without actually stating thus far is, I'd be tremendously disappointed if talking weren't a part of the exchange (I've gone with the premise that the majority of men I'd see in a country where Sex Work is legal, wouldn't speak English very well, if at all. Perhaps in an International locale like Singapore that might not be as big of a problem as if I were in Dusseldorf, Germany.) I’d go so far as to swear that 85% of all return visits are because of our verbal exchanges and for regulars, 100%. If dialogue weren’t part of the experience, I might feel like an interchangeable vessel.
I started escorting in 1992 (way before the net), stopped for ten years while I was married, and started again after I finished with the divorce. And guys from Colorado, Texas, and California (and certainly Arizona) that I’d last seen a decade ago, have all returned (And I don’t think it’s ‘cause I’ve become any more attractive with the passage of time. My a** continues to slide towards my knees…)
Working with an Agency wouldn’t figure into the equation near as much as the Language Barrier would.
And lastly, just a personal revelation; it’s not as though I’m escorting because I lack any skill sets. I’m an Oral and Maxillo-facial Surgeon (But I had the same problem when I practiced; none of my patients could talk!!)
Thank you for all the wonderful information you’ve provided though so many different venues. Your Book Series brought me into the 21st century of ‘Internet Entertaining’.
Appreciatively,
Elizabeth Loveall

And you assume I don't speak during my appointments or that I'm fluent in Mandarin, Hindi or Malay???
Though Mandarin is the Mother Tongue in Singapore, it's an English-speaking country. No worries there. To be honest, English is the international language. In any country. Period. (With the exception of France -- let's not get started on that one.)
I'm not sure how working with an agency or in another country would prevent you from talking to your clients during the appointment. Certainly you would not know anything about them beforehand and it would be against the rules to communicate with them privately afterward. Working for an agency in another country wouldn't be with the idea of building repeat clientele, unless the escort wanted to tour regularly in that country (in which case repeat clients are created exactly the same way as they are in the US).
Oh well, I asked a question. Got one answer. Thanks.

You make a hugely incorrect assumption the trade I uniformly legal in SG. It is not. Brothels legally operate in certain areas. Agencies operate but are marginal, catering to the uninformed tourist. They are generally looking for the "exotic," i.e. Asian/non-white.
The issue regarding legality is holding a proper work permit.
Plus SG is a hyper competitive market to anyone with any sense of surroundings. Easy to get phenomenal service, all night long, anything and everything on offer at very modest pricing. Maybe $100 USD for 3-4 hours, $150 USD all night. I once spent a wonderful 3 day weekend with a lovely Cambodian lady for about $200 USD plus meals at nice restaurants and a bit of shopping.

Ebauche is correct- while there is a very large choice of hobbying opportunities outside the designated brothel areas in Singapore, those designated areas are the ONLY place the hobby is legal.
Harkontume- English is ONE of the official languages in Singapore, along with Mandarin, Tamil, and Malay.

Social escorting is legal in Singapore (i.e. paying for time, not sex). Prostitution is indeed legal only in regulated areas. Social escort rates are generally a lot higher than typical prostitute rates. Western women can easily charge $500SGD/hr and up. However, the issue of working without a work visa is a very real issue in any country.

Ebauche, you got better prices than I did, I think. And, probably better service. Still, I had a decent time in Singapore. Spent too much on my hobby.
There is obvious prostitution throughout the whole Geylang area without regard for the legitimate houses. I know, from having talked with an immigration officer, that police do go after those outside of the designated areas but it seems by and large unenforced. I would not want to get involved with Singapore police, trust me. That's serious. (More serious crimes involve drugs.)
I suspect most girls don't have a work permit. I didn't think to ask them while I was with them, somehow.
I don't think a Cacausian would want to work at one of the houses and for those prices. Considering the market is full of various SE Asians and some Chinese, I suspect Caucasians would rake in good money.
All you need is English and you can get along just fine in Singapore.
