Default Labor Department backs off plan forcing reporters to use government-issued computers

Well, thank God for small favors. They will try again, and win. Soon the news will be overtly managed by the government, rather than covertly, like now.

Why don't you try telling the whole story. The reports work in what is called a "lock up" room at the Department of Labor while filing stories on jobless reports and other key economic data and the Department of Labor wanted them to use their computers, software and Internet lines so the government could protect against such potential security breaches as hacking.

They are NOT trying to manage the news, ONLY Fox and you would put it that way.

You say tomato He says tomato. Any excuse will work.
It would be much simpler if they told them to bring one of those mobile card things. It is not the responsibility of the government to provide internet access to anyone.
