A hot thread list to keep a watchful eye on

Curious, do you guys have a way to highlight a thread and keep an eye on it. Example, a thread is getting pretty heated, maybe a few points handed out. Can you mark it to have the mods check it out once a day or so in case it really craters and needs the helpful hand of a mods with a whip, chair, and a pencil to hand out points and ban a few trouble makers?

Normally the RTM clicks are the way to go. It's hard to predict which threads may start spinning out of control until i t has started going downhill.

We can highlight a thread but as I said, by the time it is brought to our attention, it normally is the RTM reports that get us to take action or start monitoring a thread.
