I was thinking about expanding my tour this june....how is omaha??

June usually isn't the greatest month for a traveling gal to visit. Hotel prices are jacked up at 30-40% higher because of the College World Series, Little League World Series is usually here and this year, the 2012 Olympic Swim Trials.

If you're going to visit, do it before June starts or in July.

Omaha is Great!!! But you do have to watch out of the month of June because of what MsElena said

As Elena said if you are coming in June it would be best to come early in the month. Avoid the time window between June 12 and July 2nd. There are two big events here in Omaha. The College World Series is June 15 - June 26. And as soon as that ends the US Olympic Swim Trials start June 25 and runs through July 2nd. Hotel room prices will be grossly inflated, more than double their normal rates.

Not much honestly, there are a few guys in Lincoln who'd love to see a lady stop i. I think it would make a good one day stop if your tour was say, 2-3 days. I'm hitting Omaha in May for the exact reasons listed above. I've spent a lot of (non-work) time in Nebraska and they really bend you over for hotels during the events (like everywhere else)

Actually some ladies do pretty well in Grand Island, Kearney, Hastings area as well.

June is bad in Des Moines, too. They host the World Pork Festival.
