This is mostly (maybe entirely) to the guys: it can be a tricky thing, guys, if you're looking for OTC time at a sporting event. You're gonna have to develop a sense of trust between yourself and the provider beforehand, with the lady in question being comfortable that you won't turn the "date" into something more than it really is in your own mind. They don't need that, but they get it all the time. But, once that sense of trust is established, it is possible to be friends with a provider and go to a game without paying for 3 or 4 hours of somebody's time. But even then, it will always be an atypical "friendship" and you must be mindful of that.
As always, YMMV, and I think it would be rude (and not nearly as much fun) if you didn't plan on purchasing an hour of time after the game. If the Rangers, Mavs, Cowboys, or Stars score, then so should you.
It's the best time you'll ever have doing the "polite" thing.
