Default Hotel Suggestions in Kansas City?!?

Hello Guys, I am thinking about visiting Kansas City early next week.

Anyone have any suggestions on the area I should stay in while I'm there?

Post here or PM me with more info

Thanks,
Kat VonDee

Kat - with all do respect, this is something you should be posting in the more secure (all be it not much) infoshare area of the board.
It is the other providers that will be able to give you the true story of this area..

As much as we clients would like to think we know what areas are best, being somewhere for just a hour or so does not make us an expert.

Hope you have a great time here and above all else play and stay safe.

Anyone can give hotel advice, but it depends on who the lady decides to take it from.

Also, its best to be done via PM/powder room and/or Infoshare.

I'd second the plaza/downtown area as a good choice.

Plaza/Downtown area is typically best for several reasons. They have higher class hotels in those areas, lots of attractions as well. Also you are nearly in the center of the city meaning folks from all directions are closer to you then if you were at the airport for example.

The airport also isn't bad, I am closer to the airport, but downtown or the plaza area is most likely where you want to be.

Also stay away from I-435 & 87th or Bannister area. That's where the hood rats dwell.

If you use priceline you can usually get a room at the Weston crown center for like 60$ a night. Nice hotel not sure how good it is for a provider though.

Oh and priceline hotels can be had for 45-50 per night. Four points for example a lady I knew got a room there for 45 a day for 3 days.

I'm sure this poster is just trying to help out....but.....

Not sure this is a good suggestion....lots of resistance to Kansas, especially motels in Lenexa, Leawood, Overland Park...that this lady may be unaware of....again I would think Powder Area would be the best play
