If the link is to her real name, you may not post it. If it uses her pro name only, then you may post it.
In any case, you are free to say, "the woman is insert pro name".

Sophie certainly doesn't do much to support the notion that prostitution is a victimless crime. Human trafficking - kidnapping - false imprisonment all give the hobby a very bad reputation. I've never felt or believed a provider I was seeing was being forced in any way. Maybe I'm naive. Perhaps a more entertaining question for discussion purposes is should we as "insiders" feel compelled to report such issues when and if we encounter them...or is it simply a case of "that's their bad luck"? If you were the person being forced, held against your will, etc...what would you want/hope?

So is she "on the loose"?

Pathetic situation. I remember when it came down.

Sortof. She was "promoting" another woman. Not sure of the details. I believe that it was discussed here a long while back.

You have a moral obligation to attempt to help someone that is being held in slavery. If they refuse help? No longer your issue.

I agree. If this business was decriminalized and hence, more open ... if many of us established ladies saw this crap happening, we wouldn't put up with it and try to do something about it.

I would. But as it is, I'm so isolated (by choice) that I just do not run into these situations at all. Quite the opposite. The ladies that I know are superb human beings. Well, most are!!!

SG, I agree to a point. We do have a moral obligation. The question becomes to what degree are we obligated to help? Is it simply a matter of asking..."Are you being made to do this against your will? Are you alright? Do you want help?"...or is our obligation greater than simply asking. Many people in these situations are probably more afraid of potential reprisals than they are of the forced service, especially if they've been physically abused/beaten as part of their "conditioning." Despite wanting the help, they may well decline. I hope I'm never confronted with this. I honestly don't know how, or to what extent I'd be willing help.

If I knew someone was being abused and forced to do this or under age I would try to help up to and including contacting LE. Since I am careful who I see it is highly unlikely I will ever run across this problem.

Default Domestic vs Slavery

I can almost see trafficking as an elevated domestic situation. These women are most likely lured into sex slavery because they are in a relationship that influences negative behavior. The hobby is not the cause of the trafficking, it is what is behind the scenes that encourages women to become involved in such behavior. Domestic violence and drug use are mostly always factors of women in the sex trade.

Hmmm interesting perspective. A brain washed woman that can not help herself , you just turn you back on? Those are the one's that need the most help.

Any woman held against her will , I would contact LE. Period.

At the end of the day, it is a dicey situtation.

Closest thing I ever saw was a Russian chick that was an degreed engineer and Olympic gymnast and after talking to her I had the feeling she owed some truly shaky people some big money for the opportunity to come to Amsterdam and work. It was a very high end club where they charged like 500 Euros just to get in but damn Super Models everywhere you look. Years later, I read that it was a big problem over in Europe after the fall of the USSR. I wish I had pulled the Richard Gere , "Pretty Woman'' thing with her. Afterall she is the only woman that has ever backflipped into a round rotating bed for lil lo me!
