Let's talk about cigars....
I'm looking for a few good places to hang out, relax, and smoke a nice cigar. Preferably somewhere I can bring my own in at. I go to Cool River Cafe in Las Colinas often, but it is sometimes too noisy in there, and "Love and War in Texas" in Grapevine has never complained when I sit in the bar area to smoke one. I'd like to go someplace though, where there aren't as many people, and the conversation is good as well as the atmosphere.
On that note, I'm a full flavor guy. Love a good triple maduro, or a double ligero, among others.

I believe Del Frisco's has a cigar lounge.
Cool River in general is a noisy place.

Yes let's talk cigars! What part of town you talking about? I know a couple of just strict cigar/bar places on the Ft Worth side.
I personally like to smoke outside, unless they have a really, really good air scrubbing system.
PS On a different note, a couple of years ago a provider found out I like cigars. She insisted I light one up and smoke it while she proceeded to suck my dick. I'm not sure who was more excited!

Now that I could go for Slowmover. I'd certainly feel like Tony Soprano in that situation, even if I'd end up looking like Boss Hog... and not the Burt Reynolds version mind you.
I've been meaning to join one of the American Legion halls around here. I'm pretty much right on the border of Irving and Carrolton, at Macarthur and Beltway. One of the guys I work with was telling me there is a place in Addison where they roll them for you when you order it. Not sure what kind of tobacco's they have in it, but I may have to try that out.
I buy a lot from cigars international, but I find myself spending 50 or more a week at Up In Smoke, or Ole Tobacco company in Grapevine. I gotta get myself under control... heh.. I've got a stockpile of cigars, I have the feeling I'll never smoke now.
When I'm kicking back, I don't mind smoking the La Flor Dominica Double Ligero... the ridiculous 8 inch one. I like the nicotine kick I get from that one.

I know the Del Frisco by the Galleria no longer has a lounge.
Have heard this place is decent but never been http://www.elitecigarcafe.com/index.htm
And I am a fan of Ashtons myself. Either a Classic Magnum or a Cabinet #6

Thanks, it's been a while since I was there.
I was driving by Javier's in Uptown today and noticed they have a cigar room.

ndmain1977, I feel your pain but I also understand the why - Dallas, April 10, 2009, banned in all enclosed workplaces, including bars and restaurants - it's becoming a way of the world that you need to at least get outside if not just get away.
Personally, I won't smoke a cigarette but I occassionally enjoy a smooth Macanudo after dinner along with a rich Fonseca Port - and it's always outside somewhere.
I get most of my cigars from www.jrcigars.com. If you get a chance to visit one of their stores, it's a special treat, but you can order them on line as well. There are a few privately owned stores in the Miami area that rival them but they're a dieing breed of entrepreneurs.

I smoke occasionally over at the Up in Smoke in Las Colinas. Right down the road from me, comfortable chairs, etc....though I am always the youngest person there, and not wearing a fucking suit. haha

Cuesta Rey #9 is my fav. Also 2nd JRcigar.com great online prices. A nice place I've found is on the northeast corner of Midway & Beltline in Addisson (it's behind the tatto shop). Nice bar and patio area, good appetizers. Just around the corner is the pub, the Londoner that is good to enjoy cigar in

Bolivar Royal Corona, Partagas Serie D No. 4 and Montecristo No. 2 ---- all from Cuba and all incredible! Nothing like smoking one of these babies and sipping a Havana Club 7 Year Old Rum or a single malt scotch [preferably an Islay whiskey!].

Just because they are illegal doesn't mean you can't get them. This is the only country it's illegal to buy them in.
