My response here in not meant to insult your point of view, but you simply don't know if he's seeing 3 other providers in between seeing her! That's the whole problem in the whole scenario , you don't know either way !

I don't know how to spell it out for you if your going to take a close minded approach. It sounds like you read the first sentence and then replied. What I said is yes she may have regulars but put all the different guys together and you still going to get more then even the busiest hobbyist see. How many ladies do you see a year? I'm talking different ladies. Now how many different guys are they seeing a year? If she see's 10 regulars a month that's 10 different guys plus how ever many new guys she see's. Based on your logic there is 0% risk for a regular and that's just not the case. Let's say he see's her and he has 2 other regulars he see's. that mean's he see's 3 ladies a month and she see's 10 guys (regular or not) Who's the higher risk????

My point here is that even the lowest volume provider see's more guys a month (different guys) then the highest volume guy sees in a month.


Now when I turn it around, I don't like to see high volume providers also. Unless she is super hot and reviews are super hot I tend to stick to lower volume providers myself.

I have (checks) 7 OKs on P411, dating from 2007.

It's safe to say I have been hobbying before 2007.
It's safe to say I have seen more than 7 women since 2007.

I usually try to get 1 or 2 OKs a year, just so that someone checking would see that I am an active hobbyist and have providers they can contact regarding me. (and no, being a moderator doesn't mean you are verification free - it was actually easier for me to line up dates *before* I was a mod!) I don't feel the need to have every lady I see check off a box attesting to that.

It's safe to say that I have an active sex life.
It's safe to say that using protection, both for me and my partner, is an ironclad *requirement*.

If you're creeped out by someone with 50 P411 OKs, bear in mind that I could probably have gotten 50 P411 OKs were I sufficiently motivated to over the past few years, and if I could have, since I'm fairly certain I am fairly inactive compared to most, that almost every other active hobbyist could as well.

Something to ponder.

I started thread just because of the varied responses. I have asked this question of most providers that I've seen. Have got responses from 3-5 okays to collect as many as you can. I remember just a couple months ago there was a guy on p411 who had just hit 400. Now somebody is certainly seeing him . I still have a okay from the lady who invited me on even though she doesn't provide anymore. Once and a while the account is active. So I guess you never know.

Exactly, that was the point I was making. Regular or not, the ladies have more contact with opposite sex then the males do. And like rod put it, no one knows how many regs a lady or guy has and so on and so on and so on...........If a guy only see one lady and a lady on see's on guy, that's not hobbying, that's dating and not what we are discussing here.

Particularly Homer13, who is almost always completely full of sh...ining examples of diversity of opinion in this hobby. Every time I read yet another post where he's stating I'm not his type, he doesn't like my photos or I'm not "worth 3 bills" I always breathe a sigh of relief because judging by his attitude towards a LOT of females in his posts here he is DEFINITELY not my type either.

Ralphey...you're giving me ideas- you can be goldilocks and I'll be one of the bears that finds you eating my porridge so I tackle you and we have to fight over it and our clothes just happen to get torn off in the struggle. Then we can test out the sofa, the floor and the bed to find out which one is juuuust right.

I remember when I first started out and had only seen a couple of girls, several of the girls (very well respected) talked trash about guys that hobbied often. One said when she got a P411 request from a guy with 20 OKs, she was grossed out. Her comment stuck with me and I didn't request OKs from a lot of girls, but sometimes they just give them without me requesting it, and I haven't deleted any yet. So I'm one of those "gross" guys with around 30 OKs..

I have to admit that I see Reya's point. Just like a lot of guys would probably think twice if we saw 100 reviews for a girl, I'm sure a high P411 OK count can have the same effect. Even though we all know what's going on, we don't want to think about it.

I don't find that guys with a lot of okays to be hunting for alphabet soup or anything of the type.

Honestly, the guys who have 5 okays have probably been with more than 5 providers.

For me, the more okays the better. I do not care one shred how many women you have slept with - I only care that you treated them with respect, you were clean and safe with them, and you didn't rip them off. That's what okays are FOR. I can learn about you, your preferences, your desires in person.

I disagree, some of the most successful providers have TONS of reviews. They're amazing advertising/web traffic. I can always look at my web stats and tell you exactly what date I got new reviews. That day and 3-4 after my traffic is through the roof. My SSL traffic usually doubles (more people filling out the reservation form).

Now maybe if it was 100 reviews in 5 or 6 months, but 100 reviews over 3-4 years is nothing. I can name providers here and in Canada that I can type in TBD or TER and see at LEAST 100 reviews on either site. I have something like 57 at the moment and I've never had negative effects from them, only compliments on them.
