My ECCIE Reviews
Default Questions

Question 1. I'm trying to decide where to place my ad for my upcoming visit. Do I put here in CoEd with the others or do I place it in the provider ad section where all ads are supposed to be?

Question 2. Why is it OK for a MOD to "quack" a non review of a provider? MOD's have always told others to back off and no "quacking." I ask this because I'm rather confused. Let me explain my stance:

The guy who wrote the non review just joined, he obviously was lurking and all you did was push him back into lurking and probably pushed others into staying in the lurking mode.

There's a lot of lurkers on this board who do call the ladies, set appointments and are good guys. Just because he joined up the same day he left his opinions doesn't mean he came on here to cause trouble, he came on here to share his experience.

So, is it going to become common practice to question every new guy's reviews or opinions if they aren't positive? If so, I'll tell my lurkers to stay away from the drama and not write a review or not to give his opinions because they obviously don't mean jack unless its all positive towards the lady.

1. It'll be more convenient for you to just place it here in co-ed since you'll be spending so much time here bitching about everything else in the forum.

2. Perhaps it would be more constructive to contact the moderators of the forum with this concern rather than come here and incite more drama.

And you're missing the point.

Along with the folks who liked your post.

/shrug my lurkers don't give a shit, mostly because they are grown men who don't care what happens on the hooker board. (see my overnight review from dottoreluv).

Elena, I dont follow the rules as closely as you do, but I will take a stab at where you should put your "provider ad". How about in the Provider Ad forum, where all other providers place their provider ads?

It also may work to your benefit to post your provider ad in the Provider Ad forum, because I suspect there are hobbyist that dont view this very interesting coed room and may not be familiar with you, like, say, drock and those that liked his post. Might make your ad more effective?

One more pearl for you elena, dont tell "your lurkers" to stay away from the drama, or they might take your advice and stay away, from the drama

Question 1....adapt with the times and use both lol.

Question2.....unfortunately not every poster is seen in the same light, but you know that already.

As I said earlier, y'all missed my point. SG was the only one who seemed to get it.

Johnny.....see below and maybe you'll understand.

1. The CoEd section isn't an ad section, do you really want to keep seeing ads/threADs in it? There's a provider ad section for a reason. If a provider has an opening or an open night and can't run another ad, then use your signature line. Once you added your open times or whatever time you're horny and have no clients, then start posting so guys will see your sig line and contact you. Growler, there isn't a reason to adapt.

2. That second question and my reasoning behind it is pretty self explanatory. I read SG's review that she mentioned above and damn, some of you are petty when it comes to reviews. If you can't look up a rate on a website then I don't know what to tell you. That was another example of some of the regular male posters hazing the new poster. There was no need for it.

I'm surprised that more of you guys aren't behind this.

Drock....as I said, you missed my point. I didn't ask the 2nd question to cause drama, I simply wanted an answer.

Johnny, as for me telling my lurker clients to stay away from the drama....there's no drama with me when it comes to my clients, my sessions and I have many happy clients who can attest to that. I'm actually one of the easiest people to get along with. You can keep that pearl.

Some love me, some hate me, but I seem to say and question things that most people want to, but won't because they're afraid of the backlash and afraid to rock the boat.

Are we supposed to be like sheep and just follow the herd?

Wet dont get it? Couldnt possibly be that you dont get it, could it? Nobody wants you to follow like a sheep, just basically a suggestion to not be bitchy, to potential customers, or even to a mod, when the things you are bitchy about, are outweighed by the damage you may be doing to your biz. I suppose your clientele is so strong you dont have to worry about alienating potential clients?

Maybe you should think of why five people liked what drock wrote? Instead of telling all of us "you dont get it", just take a deep breath, think, and stop shooting yourself in the foot, with post that many see as, "you guys are dumbassaes, the new mod is unfair, and by the way, im coming to visit"

I'm pretty new at this whole moderator thing, and honestly, even though I've been a long time contributor on this board, I previously always made a point of NOT entering or reading the Coed Discussion and Sandbox areas. In my opinion, they are pretty much only good for one thing, and that's drama generation. In my new role, I no longer enjoy this luxury.

It would certainly make my life easier if everyone just tried to get along and share information rather than seemingly go out of their way to create threads and word things in a way they know full well will create mostly negative and nonconstructive discussion, making it necessary for me or another mod to step in and try to clean up the mess in a way that is certain to make no one happy, and probably to generate more drama about how the evil mods want to stop people from posting their opinions.

That being said, I will try to address the original questions:

(1) As to threADs, I personally don''t care for them. But there was a policy change above my pay grade that made them allowable as long as they "aren't abused." When I recently removed a threAD and informed the poster that she should be posting ads in the Provider Ads or Weekend Lineup section, as appropriate, she quite politely and in a very civil manner pointed out the policy change and provided examples. I thanked her for the education and restored her thread. Were it up to me, I'd not have the threADS, as now I have yet another subjective thing to sort through as to to what constitutes "abuse" of this privilege. If everyone wants to voluntarily refrain from posting them, that would be great, but it's not my place to override the existing policy.

(2) As to a people jumping on a new poster, I agree it happens too much, and that it probably discourages some from sharing info. That being said, I don't recall a specific instance of a mod doing it, but I could have missed it. In any case, I am not sure what I can do about it besides disapprove, or elect myself lord arbitrator and start deleting every post I disagree with. I don't think that would help the community, and I don't think folks would like it much.

I've stated my position, and tried to answer the questions to the best of my ability. And with that, I'm closing this thread.
