Rooms at casinos

I want to bring my arrangment to Shreveport for gambling and drinking.

Is there a way to get a good deal on a room at a good casino?

During the week many of them are as cheap or cheaper than other local hotels ($89 or so). But most weekends the prices go up by about $100 (depends on many factors.)

If you are a gambler and play with your players card you will get offers for deals on rooms. If you do not have a card and are staying for the first time I hear that Diamond Jacks has the best deals on rooms. You may want to stay their on the first trip if you want to save on a room, but I would not suggest gambling very much their. Gamble at Boomtown, Horseshoe, or El Dorado. Not sure what your level of gambling is but if you stay at just about any of them and spend a certain level they will probably comp your room.

So if I send them credit for $1000 of markers would that be enough to get comps? What about $2000?

Red, if you send them credit for markers, be sure and contact the members benefit club and tell them you want a room comped. Most casinos here will comp you a room for markers above $1000. They still will require you to sign up for their members club. I'm a semi professional card player at most of the local casinos and that has been my experience.

Red Tex, I have not payed for a room, food, or drinks in years and I always Stay at Eldorado Casino. They will send you a calander of comp rooms for that month, you just have to make your reservations about 3 weeks in advance, because the hotel fills up fast. I am a craps player and i have NEVER sent any marker to get a comp, for room, food, drinks, etc. They will also send you free cash, food, spa, free gifts, tickets. They have great food there and are always running promos all day like 300,000 give aways etc... You ask yourself how you get in on that? first, you get a members card and use your card on everything you play as they monitor your LENGTH/TIME on how long you stay there. I am from dallas, so i stay there 2 nights, (Fri & Sat. night) about once a month. The 2 key factors are 1) Play often & always use your card on any game. (spend time on the casino floor) 2) Go to casino as often as you can, the more the better. you will recieve comps in mail. (Remember to make your reservations 3 weeks in advance, around the time you revieve the comp calander in the mail) It really is a FREE STAY, from rooms, food, drinks, even comp you cash for your gas to get there. Eccie Ladies stay there sometimes, you just have to see who's touring there, then make appontment, go to different floor without ever leaving casino. life is good.
