I am all in favor of a business model where fair market value is established by the merchant, and the customer base will shop where the best value for product is established.
Merchants establish fair market value, customers establish perceived best value, commerce is established where the two intersect.
Your beautiful heart is personified by your generosity to charity.
I ask that you re-check your math- $1795 - 300 does not equal $1595.
I do have two regrets, one that I did not see your special rate, and two, that you had to change your number due to harassing/haranguing calls and text.
Please PM your new number.

You are sweet as always. Thank you for checking my math! You are absolutely right! Well I've already got the money order for the charity, so I'm not changing it now but its only fair to the experiment that I give accurate results so I stand corrected. Thank you

The idea that lowering the price of a product or service will generate more profit is a myth. Overhead costs are rarely a constant, and you have to deal with a wholly different clientele that takes considerably more effort and time to satisfy. It is true in service as well as product industries, and it is true in the hobby as well. What I don't understand is why SA guys want to try and make Eccie into MoCo. If you want cheap tail, you know where to find it. Why bring it here?
As to the grand experiment, I will share my thoughts. I'm impressed you went through the effort to confirm your suspicions. I will admit your special did attract my attention, and I remember your tribute being at a level outside my usual range. That may have been a faulty memory, of course. As to the second tryst, the correct answer to my text regarding what your standard would have been whatever you wanted/needed it to be. I knew your special was over, but I also believed you had recently adjusted your pricing. I didn't know at the time why so I was giving you the opportunity to let me know what you expected. I do hope the tip I left above the special rate made up the difference.
As to pricing in general which seems to be the hot topic all the sudden, I have a personal sweet spot around $200. I've seen a few for less and compensated up with gifts and tips. I've seen a few above that and with few exceptions they were less fun for me. Probably because I wasn't their idea of who they wanted to be with so the chemistry just wasn't there. That has caused me to trend away from ladies $250 and above. I need to reconsider that math as I get to know some of the SA ladies in that range and how they react in my company in social settings.
But back to the issue at hand, the value of your time. That is something I fully believe you and each and every provider should decide for themselves. Not based on pressure from me or anyone else. Work is work, no matter where you find it. Determine what meets your needs physically, financially, and psychologically and run with it. Be the success your deserve to be.

Aw, hell. Now I am going to have a hell of a time going to sleep thinking about likkinikki running a school for girls. Older girls of course! What sort of uniforms, study topics, preferred under-garments? So many questions to consider...

Speaking of pricing, I'll throw out my 3 cents worth with the risk of having to point out the obvious by these statements:
Ah, yes! The free market and perceived value. Naturally, everyone loves a good "deal", but with this long-lasting trend of inflation, lowering one's standard pricing generally will never suit them. "Specials" are one thing, but going backward is another.
What makes gold precious?
Oh, the humanity!

I think your experiment is dead on. I visited a friend in SA last week and thought I would work a little in my free time. I was treated very ugly by many of the men I spoke to while I was there because of my rates (and I did not raise them for traveling expenses). I was cussed at and had many hateful things said and emailed to me. I had more NCNS than I have ever had in Baton Rouge. My rates are actually on the lower end in my area. I did not lower my rates and I won't. Why would I take on the expenses of traveling just to charge less when in another city. I met a few respectable men, but I am afraid the bad outweighed the good. I know I have worked hard to earn the reputation that I have built for myself. I have one of the best that Louisiana has to offer. The men here are already getting it for so much less than many other cities, yet they are trying to make you lower your rates even more.
In louisiana, the men there are much more respectable and do not haggle with you about your rates. They are always grateful for the opportunity to meet someone new and are much more appreciative of you and your time. I would have had to see almost twice the number of clients I see on a regular basis to make what I make at home.

Rover - it was an absolute pleasure to meet you and both times you tipped was well appreciated but not expected (the 2nd was outside the experiment time frame). You are always a gentleman and made me feel really special Thank you!
As far as pricing, when I first came here, I was at 350 for clients that wanted to see me in SM or NB, but had way too many requests at that rate. I think the perceived value was higher. I dropped my rate bc I found 200 to be the right balance for me bc it slightly decreased the amount of times I had to turn people away and yet I could still be as busy as I wanted to be.

Haha! I just dropped it off but do I qualify for your school of girls? Do I get a uniform? If I'm really naughty will you personally give me a spanking?

Thanks foxyred. Don't know about the schools though, I got my degree from UGA. I can say that all the ladies I spoke to there in SA for reference checks were as nice as could be.

Last week, hearing that I was a n*sty wh*r* or a dig*st**g c**t because I wouldn't give them another 20 off, made me feel as such.

Ladies, I'm really sorry that you were treated like this, that's just crazy! Hopefully these were just trolls, they certainly aren't men.
If you don't like a ladies pricing then move on! I'm not someone that hobbies a lot, so when I do I want to make sure that I get the best bang for my buck. That does not include browbeating someone about their prices or cussing them out and treating them like dirt.
Jeez guys, man up!!!
If you want to have a $60.00 date, then go swim in the MOCO or whatever it's called pond.
