Anyone see the video of that accident where a guy got distracted by a pelican, dropped his cell phone, leaned over to pick it up -- and put his 7-figure sports car into the water?

Bugatti Goes into the Water!

Click here to watch the Veyron race a fighter jet.

Of all the cars I've ever driven, one of the most fun is the Tesla Roadster:

288HP electric motor, 53 kWh li-ion battery pack, 0-60mph in 3.7 seconds, SS quarter-mile in 12.6 seconds.

It's so quiet you can't even tell it's running when you start the motor, and you hear only a slight whine during full-throttle acceleration. It's just amazing! Incredible torque (characteristic of an electric motor) and it handles like an Acura NSX.

This is a high performance sports car you can drive on summer ozone action days without further fucking up the city's air quality!
Without a doubt, the Bugatti is the fastest, most powerful and expensive car on the planet. It costs about $300,00 per year to operate and maintain one. Bugatti recommends both tire and wheel change every 2,500 miles, at $50,000 per change. Sir Jackie Stewart crashed one in Scotland, and it cost the insurance company $450,000 to put it right.

There are two Teslas in my neighborhood, and I lust for them, perhaps even more than for Topshelf Tess.

I get a sense of accomplishment with each successful diy: new shocks, new tie rods, new motor mounts, even replacing some inexpensive gaskets. The only diy I haven't been completely pleased with was when I ripped out the old low-rent vinyl coverings and worn carpet and attempted to diy the interior. I certainly could have used some tips and tricks with the trim work.
PM me. My boss has 60 antique cars ranging from a collection of 1930's Limousines complete with a Duesenberg up to every Corvette from 1953-1967. If our guy can't advise you, we know a restorer that can.

The GT-R is a fun car and very fast, but the drive train is really noisy and it almost drives itself. If you turn off the traction and stability control so you can drive the car, you void the warranty!! But it is fast!!!
