You are an ignorant, stupid individual if you equate perjury with infidelity.

Hank gets a free pass ...

I didnt vote for Obama in the first go round and certainly wont in the next one.

Had Ol Newt been under oath he would have lied his ass off just like Clinton did .. the only difference between perjury/infidelity.

There is no doubt that there are many on the "right" who are as anxious to be "social engineers" just as there are on the "left". Newt himself was called to task not long ago for pointing this out.

The complete and utter failure of the "War on (that which we do not discuss at Eccie), has changed some minds through the years, maybe his is one of them. I have a couple of relatives who were of the "gung -ho" kill all the dopers mindset thirty years ago and now think it should be legalized and taxed.

They've all got baggage for sure and "CJ" there is one hell of a big difference between perjury and infidelity, which I'm sure you realize.

I'm tending to favor Newt more all of the time, if for no other reason than the entertainment factor of seeing the heads of the GOP elites and the libs both starting to explode (well, technically, in the case of the liberals they would be imploding I guess).

LOL, the only difference is if you are on the stand or another!

Some people are under the delusion that they would tell the truth just because they are under oath. Some of us know better.

That is the difference in our reaction to the fact and the delusioned!

Clinton's perjury violated federal law. As a lawyer, Clinton knew that. Gingrich's infidelity violated no federal laws.

but as a potential presidential candidate, surly he knew that the personal actions on his part would come back to haunt him.

You are mistaken. I'm not defending Gingrich's lack of morals, I'm scraping the whitewash from Clinton's crimes.

Default you need to exhale sometimes bro

C'mon lets get a reality check here.
William Bennet was the main supporter
of this legislation. It creeped me out that
we could have such ghouls in the ranks
of the GOP. But a quick check of the aptly
named grassroots GOPers found no support
by We the People. As for their closet
ghoulie status, they were still far less
misanthropic than the monsters who
enable unborn citizen children to be
sucked into a sink piece by piece.

In this United States of America no jury of
citizens will sentence to death anyone
for the transportation of marijuana period.
There is no cultural support of any
significance for such punishment.

Supporters of the death penalty do not
favor capitol punishment for lesser crimes.
It diminishes the significance of the death penalty.
And turns our judicial system into an abbatoir.

If by some chance in hell such a law came
to pass. The few executed would doom
the govts WoD; substance abuse martyrs.

No, the law would never pass, but Gingrich did support it.
