This is what I get from reading Salon online on a Sunday morning.

We just have to discuss this topic, which I'm going to be the first to say that this just isn't healthy at all.

Feederism - to bottom line it, it's a fetish where people pay to see a fat person eat.

I found it as a result of reading an article about Kirstie Alley saying that she wouldn't have fat sex. Then, there's a book review about "Big Big Love: A Relationship Book for People of Size (and those who love them)".

I'm getting ahead of myself. For the record, I don't think that being morbidly obese is good and myself ... well, I'm working on becoming more healthy and so although this isn't a practice that I condone, I'm a little bit more familiar with this fetish (not realizing it was a fetish years ago) then I'm letting on right now.

So interesting to me! Thoughts? Comments? Sickening awe?

I think your post is interesting in the fact that there are two distinct issues you address. Being attracted to plus sized women or men and the desire to have sex with them and feederism. Feederism is a paraphilia which people get sexually aroused watching obese people eat to the point of pain or illness, ie vomiting. There a a lot of people here that have fetishes or "hang ups" and the need to incite pain in their partner to get off, see also BDSM or autoerotic asphyxiation. To each their own. However to address the idea of sexual attractiveness to overweight partners, in my opinion, is erotic. To see the "jiggle" of tissue during sexual activity or the sway of the, usually larger, breasts during oral sex is quite enticing for some. So to answer your question, IMHO, feederism is a fetish I find revolting as this serves no purpose other than the idea of seeing people injure themselves for the satisfaction of another. However, having a sexual encounter with a overweight partner can be quite fun. Just my thoughts.

Heard one of these women on Howard Stern and it was disgusting, she was north of 300 lbs and was shooting for 600 lbs and did cam shows where she ate fattening foods and rubbed lotion on her ever expanding skin! If I remember correctly she was in philadelphia and I had to turn the channel it was so disgusting! The guys paying her to eat are killing her IMHO!

As a provider I've been offered by 2 different gents to be paid pretty generously actually for them to not just watch me eat but they'd also pay me pretty generously for how much weight I gained. I never knew the name for it 'till now so thanks EW lol. My reaction was sickening awe mainly because I'm a sz 16 and would like to not get any bigger. There was another case of a guy wanting me to feed him.

There was a man who I used to date gosh ... decades ago and he liked to watch me eat. I always thought it was odd and I was a LOT smaller back then.

But we would go to Stein's Bakery, kindof an iconic bakery in Dallas, and he would get me gorgeous desserts to eat. I loved it at the time.

Some of this fetish includes watching a woman get fatter. THAT is where my boundaries would set in. I'm personally trying to get healthier, not fatter.

Gorging, though, isn't a given. It's not that one HAS to watch a woman eat until they get sick (vomitoriums are coming into mind right now!), but certainly watching a woman eat excessively is prime.

There are so many interesting fetishes out there!

Perhaps I should be ashamed, as I find cooking and indeed feeding women to be a very sensual and loving act. I also take delight if she throws care to the wind and over indulges herself with abandon. So what if the result is that she becomes more voluptuous, blossoming to greater heights of femininity? I confess: I find abundant flesh intensely sexy. One must remain diligent in being mindful on one's health and that of their lovers.
