THAT is what a lot of guys aren't aware of. If you advertise on backpage, they will post the ads (if they are repeating ones) right after midnight and people will think that the ladies are awake during the time looking for night time (or late night) business.

I believe that it happening frequently with many. Just a thought ...

I third the Google Voice. You might also look into custom ring tones for the special ones that you want to answer, and Do Not Disturb on the provider number with a voice mail message informing them of the scheduled hours. If Google Voice can do this you are golden.

Thanks guys I will be using the tools on google voice as i already have 2 numbers there so Im figureing out how to work it all out ! Hey if its one time i dont mind i understand that sometimes folks dont look . I am talking about the folks who will call back to back and text back to back even after they get no answer.

kaci, i hear that you are saying that the calls are driving you nuts.
i hear that you need your other phone lines to ring at your sole phone.
i hear that it's a pain in the butt.

but,

1. accept the fact that you cannot control when people will call you. and you cannot control how much respect they will give to you. you can only control how you react to their actions.
no matter how you write ads, your signature line, your showcase, your p411, etc., some guys will not read info on when to / when not to call you.

2. so, plan for the fact that people will call you at any time of day.
there are good suggestions above for how to do that: like setup your hobby ph# to be off or forward to another # or go directly to voice mail.
if you dont want to go thru all that, accept that you will get calls at times that are not respectful or convenient to you.

deal with it or dont. your choice.
you can only get as frustrated as you allow yourself to get frustrated.

i do hope that some of the prior posters' suggestions work out for you and that you can concentrate on what it is you need to do to be you.

This is true and a whole lot of sites steal the ladies ads and make profiles on their sites. I post my hours and when I go to bed phone is on vibrate and in the other room.

If I wake up 6am like normal, and have 5 or more calls from one number well 6am I am blowing their phone up

One thing to keep in mind, from an insight perspective. You ladies' info is all over the place, not just in ads and showcases and whatnot. Sometimes a guy may be calling you from a review, or maybe he just saved your number at some point waiting for a chance to get away. Keep in mind many guys don't have the luxury to sit around and plan ideal times to hobby; many get a small window and have to jump on the chance.

I'll be honest, I rarely look at a girl's hours (I also rarely hobby after dark, but I digress). I always figure if she's not taking calls, she'll either turn her phone off or simply not answer. Seems like a simple solution.

PD your right i cant control when they call , BUT i can demand respect and if i am not treated how i shoud be and with the respect that i require in the getns i see then they wont be visiting with me . Its as simple as that. You have made valid points but i am not one of these providers who just accepts things that dont work for ME becuase they are easier for somebody eles.

This kinda takes me back to an early post of me saying that IF it was a provider that was making these back to back calls and text that she would be blasted but when i simply ask for a little bit of respect and for folks todo a better job of simply reading our post i get told how i should change things which yes i was asking for advice on how to help with the issues BUT as with most things on here when it comes down to it, the guys never think they should have to change or better how they do things its always us ladies who are expected to change inorder to make it easier for you guys.

I have always tried to be very respectful of a provider's life outside the hobb and do not text or call unless it is business. Many ladies say it is ok to call, email or text anytime; I think they are just being polite for the most part. I am not a part of that outside life and have no expectation of calling to shot the breeze. I have always thought it disrespectful when I see a guy say in a review, "so and so and I had been texting, talking and/or emailing for several weeks." Guys, for the most part, she is not in your social circle, outside of the business, leaver her alone.

It is that simple. In fact, that is the standard protocol followed by many providers and hobbyists alike. You do have a hobby phone don't you? I am not going to read a 5 page soap opera, because you decided to make things unnecessarily complicated.

I have 3 numbers all going to the same phone . I was not aware that google voice had the options to put calls on hold now i do . ITS THAT SIMPLE. I am NOT nor have i ever been considered as a what did you call it SOAP OPERA or drama filled at all. I am a VERY respected/reviewed provider here and I cant ask for a little respect ?

I dont HAVE to be here as some do I choose to be here and we all deserve respect no matter if its a hobbiest or a provider.

As far as standard protocal each person has there OWN protocal and you should do your best to follow that if you plan to see that provider . If you dont wish to follow her screening or protocal then you should choose to see somebody who doesent care as much.

Only call her between the times she has posted. It is really pretty simple.
