Living dangerously

Considering my luck with being found out you would think I would not live so dangerously these days, but the little head has a major influence on me and I can't seem to shake it, no pun intended.
My problem is that I do not have a hobby phone so I have to be very careful with my contacts to providers. There are many times when I call and they are not available and don't have any way to leave a message. This always freaks me out because they seem to just call back a number that has called them without giving any thought to where the call might be going. I know this is my fault for not having a hobby phone and I know all of the pitfalls of not having one but, at this point, I can't get one.
What I am wondering is if there is a way to make sure that I don't get a call back. The only thing I have figure out is to txt and ask that they please not call back. Any other suggestions?

Do you have a smart phone if so just get google voice since you are using your personal phone to hobby anyways. With google you can toggle on and off your Nonavailability and it will go straight to vm i think.


or just put your phone on silent?

I do not call a missed number back unless I get a VM from them stating that I can call them back.

A text is a good idea too, in this case. I don't mind text messages, I know other ladies don't like to text people, and if there is 100 plus texts, OMG! When making first contact, usually by email or PM, you should state clearly for the provider NOT to call. Or the text message idea. Hopefully you will contact a reputable provider who knows how important discretion is!

I prefer a gent leave a voice mail and tell me whether its ok to call back or not

Radio shack sell a phone for $5 just add your mins as required keep the phone off when not useing it and the card will last a while.

I do not understand and cannot think of a scenario where having a hobby phone would be bad. If SO problems, I feel confident you can hide it somewhere!!!! Take the battery out to and hide that somewhere else. If getting found out ids you rissue never, never, never, ever use your personal phone. I know you know this, but all I need is your phone number and I know everything about you, your SSN, wife's name, address, criminal background, etc.

If a lady is busted the first thing LE looks at is her phone and the list of numbers to coerce peopl elike yourself to help them bust other providers. If the number LE finds is a throw away phone nothing they can do. So, in this scenario, the lady is safe and would never reveal you rinfo but inadvertantly you were found out.

You do what is best for you, and good luck with your ventures. I always use a hobby phone.
