Ahhh yes, the memories of ancient glory days.....
I remember in 6th or 7th grade, not only getting a current Penthouse, but also a Hustler for the five finger discount, in one run!!!
I was "the man" for a couple weeks, as I stashed it in a container behind the Safeway,LOL
Hope the Statue of Limitations has expired!!!!

EVERYONE Big - how long have you gone without work? Have you had to face the option of NO job or a dirt job? I am part of EVERYONE I reject the argument - I went nearly a year without work - that is how I ended up in the middle of no where - pardon me - in the middle of the USA. And I am working for about the same amount I made 40 years ago. Pick beans, clean a toilet, anything is better than starving.

I applaud you New, I would do the same, especially if I had a family to feed. The "anyone" was probably over the top. But I know too many people who refuse to take anything that is less than their previous job and I just don't understand it.
I also am working for much less than I made a decades ago. Part of it is having to accept a job that pays less and part of it is companies not willing to pay workers what they deserve. And part of it is my fault, as I felt a job where you worked 80 hours a week was keeping me from being in my children's life as they grew up - and I do not regret that decision. Although I have to admit it has been many years since I have had to do a "dirt job", I can appreciate what you are going through and hope things turn around for you soon.
I do have to say that if I was a Mexican with a family to take care of, and had to work for scraps in my country, I too would be wading across the river.

Well if you believe that illegals are taking all the good jobs, then next time you hire someone to work on your roof, cut your yard etc. etc. hire the company that only employs American Citizens and happily pay the higher rate, dont go with the lowest bidder. Part of the problem is we Americans scream and hollar but then go with the cheapest company to do any work that we would like done even if that means illegals may be working them.

Just like we all say we want to bring back manufacturing to the USA and then go shopping at wallyworld and buy the made in China, because it is cheaper.

Exactly, same thing with Taxes, we want all these services, but we want someone else to pay for them, this weeks its the rich people, next week we will blame midgets and want them to pay for everything, thats just how the modern American thinks.

If we would legalize the hobby and pot and the hobby, slap it with a sin tax, then we would have plenty of money. Oh wait, Congress would just give themselves a raise and take more junkets.

Thank you - and I understand this motivation as well. It is a good thing for them. There is time for the other later. They are only young once!

I understand. I remember walking across the river on a foot bridge - that way we did not need special insurance for the car! This was about 20 years ago and a man or woman - could not tell for the bridge - had a raft with a child and bags on it swimming the Rio Grande River in south Texas!

That won't be changinging anytime soon. Most young people are too busy with facebook, texting, and just hanging around to lift their lazy asses to mow the lawns or do simple errands, let alone have any interest in dirtying their pinkies. Look at baseball, the great American pasttime. The bigleagues are filled with foreign players because American kids are inside avoiding the heat.
