Yeah-- I'm actually travelling TO New York---- in January!!

I'm going to be up there for a friend's event and was thinking of turning it into a working vacation of sorts....

So-- any recommendations on places to stay? If I do this, I'm going to split time between Buffalo and Rochester (Friends are in B-Port). So, I'd need hotel recommendations on both areas.

If I make a play-cation out of it, I'll be there the 2nd week of January....

Edit: doing a web search I found only two motels in Brockport

Oh I don't need accomodations in Brockport. I'm extending a planned trip in order to work while in the area (I've never visited Buffalo or Rochester for that purpose). I'm headed to B-Port the weekend of the 7th and planning on splitting time between Rochester and Buffalo the next week.
