Hotel concierge.
I'm currently, as I type, in a casino hotel. It's the first time I've stayed in a hotel nice enough to have a concierge since I've started hobby-ing. And I've always wanted, yet never have, wanted to call a concierge, tell them I want something arranged, and have it be done for me. Ya know, to feel important and junk.
Then the two thoughts crossed. Surely concierges get asked about escorts, whether discretely or less so, but common sense says that they'd never oblige you. With the obvious worries about anonymity aside, how would one try it? Has anyone ever tried it successfully? Or hilariously unsuccessfully?
I doubt I'd ever go for it as I'd want remain anonymous and choose my own date rather than leave it to chance, but I'm just curious.

You must like the idea of wasting money on the middle-man. Seems to me you can get more bang for your buck if you do your own contact...and it's much safer.

I did it at the Knickerbocker Hotel in Chicago several years ago. Worked like a charm, and it sure beat taking my chances as an out-of-towner. No I didn't do my homework before I went - it was kind of a spur-of-the-moment thing.

I have used a consierge a few times--all long, long ago in the pre-internet age. At that time I had no problems but it was very much a YMMV thing based upon what city, how good a guest you were, and whether you were deemed to be discrete or not. Yes, ther was always a generous tip to the consierge, but I looked upon that as insurance against any bad surprises. Each of my experiences were good.
Once sites like this became more accessable I decided my own research was better than trusting their judgement on the kind of lady I would enjoy meeting.
There is one hotel, however, where the consierge recently approached me. I stay there often, and often with one particular lady. The hotel staff recognizes her as my friend, and knows she usually visits when I am there. They will often send up a bottle of white wine and two glasses, and when she will not be there I tell them I would prefer red. Not long ago, after telling them to send up red, the consierge discretely asked if I needed anything that evening. I did not take him up on it, but it was very clear what he meant.

If you got the bucks to waste then go ahead. I think it's a waste of money just to boost your ego a little

La Quinta has concierge service? I am still getting used to the Inns & Suites thing.

These days they might want to kick you out of the hotel. I had a girl meet me in my room one night IN Greenville Sc. The next morning the mgr. pulled my aside and asked me not to have hookers come to my room. So I don't know if it's a good idea.

They've picked up packages I've ordered from stores that offer in-store pickup before I check in, and have had flowers and candles around the room the way I ask in certain places I visit. It's wonderful having concierge service.

Like Tiffany, I have never called upon the services of my concierge aside from mundane things, but I do know that they can often be called on for more. I've been in quite a few clubs where the concierge hang out, taking numbers and names of ladies to add to their roster so that they know who to call on the off chance that a gentleman calls down for room service.

I imagine it's a hell of a job. On several outcall engagements, I have had a concierge give me meaningful looks (figured they probably knew what I was doing there). But once, I had a concierge approach me, make small talk & then offer to take my number so he could call me "when this kind of situation arises for the patron in room blah blah blah..." I was mortified! I thought he was LE but I tried not to freak. Turns out dude was serious as a heart attack & just looking to make some money on the side....

It's a good point that it made more sense before the internet became what it is today. I realize that it's essentially an extra fee for a middle man. I typically plan ahead for any arrangements and prefer to research on my own to get things done, in and out of the hobby. It's just something I'd like to advantage one day for the hell of it. What can I say, I'm secretly shallow and want to have my every whim catered to like a stuck up prick. :-p
And I'd definitely not hobby that way, those arrangements are only between me and the lovely lady/ladies and/or gentleman/gentlemen.

Nothing wrong with wanting to enjoy the full extent of your privileges and/or be catered to like a stuck up prick. After all, it's why I still go to restaurants even though I know that I can roast a much better prime rib than the $40 one that the waitress is going to bring me, order a $12 glass of wine that I know comes from a $7 bottle, and gladly throw down an extra 20% for the privilege of being royally ripped off.

I do not thinck I would use a concierge to get me laid. The ones I have dealt with cannot even track down luggage with an airline or point me to the nearest Wallyworld, or drugstore, so I can replace lost toiletries.

When I owned an agency, we often got calls from hotel concierges. One advantage to the client is that nice hotels don't want riff-raff, so your chance of being ripped off is less because smart agency owners don't want to lose the hotel's goodwill.
