I was going through the SA's showcase and was wondering WOW are all those ladies active in SA or are we/they utilizing the new feature to post our showcase in 5 cities?

I'm missing our SA's "fiesty" ladies..... but I have to admit I have been taking advantage of that new feature myself.....

The showcases do not work that way.

She is referring to the Ad Guidelines that state that Verified Providers can post an ad in the Ads forums in up to five different geographic areas.

A couple of days ago, I counted how many unique providers posted in August. I got about 140. I wanted to know my batting percentage. It was 14 of the 140, although I didn't see them all in August.

While I know that to be true in theroy _ I understand it is more difficult to do then one might expect up to and getting their hands slapped for doing so in some cities; i.e., Dallas...

Yes, Dennis that's very true. Apparently, there's a caveat to the ad posting rule...that states we can't advertise, in other cities, unless we're ACTUALLY going to visit.

We all know that MANY PROVIDERS post ads all over...even when they're not visiting. The only way a provider gets warned...is when someone hits the RTM button for a particular ad.

Some cities, such as SA and Austin, rarely concern themselves with minor infractons; however, in other cities it's a bigger deal...apparently.

I received an INFRACTION...in Dallas...for posting an ad when I wasn't visiting...and that's how I found out. I truly appreciate the PATIENT mod from Houston...who afforded me the respect of a very nice warning...and the mods in Austin for not even caring. (lol)

Anyway, I never intended to break any rules...it was my mistake. So, be careful ladies...as we don't want to upset the community by breaking any rules.
