Getting Along 101

I've been thinking about this for sometime now and it really is kind of annoying that there is so much negativity, at times, which creeps into threads, posts, and back and forth communication ... unfortunately I have seen it all to frequently!

"Everything I needed to know I learned in Kindergarten" kind of sums it up! Its not to damn hard to say please and thank you! Its not to difficult to be respectful to one another! And its definitely not beyond our ability to work together to make this an amazing and creative site!

I'll admit there are times and there are individuals, providers and hobbyiest alike, that I enjoy hearing from. Some of the comments, the candor, the thoughtful and even laughable things that come out of your fingers are/is priceless!

I've heard it said that the good die young and that it takes a village ... BLAH BLAH BLAH but if condescending, demeaning, mean spirited comments/behavior, and disrespectful conduct become common place our Upstate Forum will begin to look like so many others across the country with fewer and fewer providers and hobbyiests posting.

Positive comments, respectful banter, open respectful communication is what I know that me and many others if not most enjoy seeing!

Thank you for letting me get that off my chest, and I appreciate your attention!

lostboy, thanks for seeing what has been the MAJOR problem on this board for some time. Jymie, Jack and Myself have tried and tried and tried to prevent it from getting to the point that its at. For whatever reason it seems that the intent of and reason for this boards existence to some, is simply to throw shit at the wall and see what sticks. Even with much pleaing, prodding, and in some cases, disciplanary actions to try and help them see the error of their ways, some still just dont get it... The ladies are fed up... and are leaving the site in droves. They simply have too much class and refuse to be subjected to the immaturity that exists on this board.
What can we do to get it back... I dont know... again I can tell you that the mods of upstate have tried and tried. I think it may be time for the general membership, to get involved and start calling a spade a spade when the time comes... The silence by the mass's has allowed an elite group of posters to feel that this is only their board and that they can do whatever they want, as they see fit, at any time. They have such little respect for the ladies here, that when a lady express's her discontent over statements made by someone, they attack like a wild pack of hyenas, with all of the social skills that match.
If you really want this board to change, for the better to once again become a place of camaraderie, where the sharing of information is open and not offensive, then its up to you the members to take it back. It doesnt matter who the mods are... when the time comes for me and jymie to leave, the next mod will be dealing with the same group, who will most likely amp up their little act to try and gain some sort of fictional relevance, and the end result will be the same... ladies and good members leaving and not posting... and right now, there is an exodus of epic proportions going on, and it is SOLEY due to the guys who continue to act this way...
oh and if anyone takes offense to this post... Too Fucking bad... your most likely one of the ones we are talking about... grow up children...

After reading a lot of stuff here I have to agree with the moderator docdave. I have a close connection with a few ladies here and would never want them subjected to the kind of mean comments here.

I will be strait and say I will never put a girl down here because firs and foremost I want an appointment with many ladies here I am not going to run my mouth and be a jerk to ruin that.
