I actually agree with you here. This info being left out made it sound like she didn't like meet and greets because the guys just wanted to see how she looked. BTW gotta love that Reya.

For some, it's not all about the looks, though it is the major selling point to 'meet & greet' functions. It comes down to chemistry, which includes looks but varies on importance from one individual to another.

While it may not be everyone, there is definitely an appeal to it (a market!). It's a bit easier for the single guys and gals to be around town and not worry about SO finding out.

My point exactly! What provider is going to spend 2+ hours having dinner with a new client for a meet and greet with no paid BCD either before or after? A little different that a cup of coffee at Starbucks... or a "social" or a "GC Event" where the investment in time pays off by meeting more than several potential clients in person.

Now, Rand Al'Thor does Sugar Babies... so a little different starting point and process. I am planning a dinner in a couple of weeks with someone that is gonna take a more traditional (non-hobby) approach to wooing... slowly, patiently... as a friend recently said, it may take a few hours, days, weeks, months... I have never been BCD with this girl, and she is not ready to go P4P (not GFE), although I know that she is somewhat intrigued by the possibilities. Wait a minute... that kinda sounds like a date with possibilities...

Kboy, you would be surprised. It's not like it happens all the time but I have had drinks with gals before with no expectations. Providers do get lonely too or like to talk to someone and not hide what they do for a living. I am sure they have friends of course but how many of us can talk to our real world friends and talk about the hobby, etc.

Situations like that are totally YMMV and should not be expected by all.......

Sixx is completely correct ... I (we, my SO and I) sometimes have a nice dinner with a potential playmate... just to see if the chemistry is right. Usually it works okay and BCD follows, but not always..
