I think she can't spell it is stem not steam,It is a long rose with a stem and teddy bear attached,and no the teddy bear did not grow on the rose

This girl did call looking for a job. She had a Spanish accent, so she may speak English but does not know spelling, grammar, and mechanics of the language. It's a hard language to learn!
Bear steam roses kind of sounds like a carpet cleaner though.

No doubt Skeeter is right "a bare stemmed rose" - a regular rose that has had the thorns removed from the stem. That way the only one who gets stuck, is the one who pays the bill.
