What would a couple hundred Playboys from the 70's-80's be worth? They are in very good condition. Any ideas.

Condition. Mint would still have some value to collectors but less than mint, not much

not much, I was given boxes full of them and ended up throwing most of them away. I gave some friends the issues of their birth month/year and that was about what they were good for (after I read them of course, some good articles in there during the 70s)

Zero. The Internet rendered all that stuff almost worthless. Nobody wants to buy Homer Simpson's Playboy collection.

Yea, Dorthy Stratten was 1979, andhe PMOTY issue in 1980 is also worth quite a bit. She's the girl that was murdered but her husband / ex-husband? A couple of movies have been made about it.

50s ans 60s were generally the best years to collect.

I doubt they're worth much. You could try putting up in ebay or craigslist to see if you get any bites.

On a related note, this is a good site to see every playboy playmate of the month from 1953 to 2004. My favorite eras are the 50s and 60s. No airbrushing, photoshops, or fake tits. Just beautiful women with great cans.

They didn't have digital airbrushing in the 60s, but they did have retouching, and other tricks. Playboy used them all.
