How to Delete Postings

Say I post something that I want to take back. Is there a way to delete it? I've been looking and can't seem to find anything.

No. At best, and if you get to it in time, you can edit your post and remove whatever you wrote. Not sure how long that opportunity exists (maybe an hour or two?), but once that Edit Post button is gone, it's in stone.

Well if you want something removed it makes me wanna find out what it is.... You have a setting button well as a proviider i do that controlls how far back in history dates you want people to find your posts and threads hope that helps honey...

You have 60 minutes to edit/remove something you posted. After that it is locked in and you would have to ask a mod to modify it for you.

I will tell you that its pretty rare that we would honor that request. We are of the "You post it - You own it" mentality.

Something to keep in mind when posting.

First of all, PROFUSE apologies in advance for replying to a somewhat dated thread!! I truly intend no disrespect of the suggested forum etiquette. I hoped this would be less disruptive than starting a whole new thread & clogging the board unnecessarily.

That said, I am extremely curious about what Crystal has mentioned here, as I have never heard of it, & can find no sign of it. Am I blind or what? Please advise. Thanks for both the assist & forgiveness!

Maybe something has changed, but I tried to edit a recent post and I couldn't. The message that I received stated that I had 120mins to edit the post and it was too late.
