Ladies: What is your over-all impression of Escort Agencies? Have you ever worked for one? Do you feel it's worth it to give the agency % of your earnings. Do you feel that agencies are good for a new provider that wants to learn the ropes of the business?

Guys: What is your over-all impression of Escort Agencies? Do you feel that it's a good plan b when you can not see your ATF? Do you like the large selection of Providers that an Escort Agency Offers? How do you feel about going through the middle man to see the provider that you want? And last...Does it interest you when Escort Agencies Offer lower rates & well reviewed girls.

I think for the guy who doesn't have the references and wants some take out, an Agency is the way to go. For me I prefer Indy. In the my early days in the hobby I would see these agency girls and most would want you to contact them directly on your next visit to skip the middle man. Just my 2 cents.

me personally, i don't see ladies with agencies, or as far as that goes ladies with "assistants", either.
i deal with the lady, me to her.

just my preference.

Agencies, Indy. They both have advantages and disadvantages to both provider and client. To a client seeing a girl from an agency maybe a bit more reassuring she isn't affiliated with Law Enforcement. To the provider she has to deal with the cut in her donation. As far as quality of service I think it depends on the girl no matter if she is with an Agency or Indy.

When I first started the hobby in the early 90s, I went through plenty of Yellow Pages Escort Agencies.(Before the Internet) If you clicked well with the provider she usually gave you her number directly. Now some girls are real loyal to their agencies. An agency girl once told me that her agency has a "wall of shame" for all the girls that have given out their numbers during calls. What usually happens is the guy might get pissed off at her for some reason and call the agency telling them she has been working on the side. Most girls from agencies now are real catious when giving out their phone numbers.

Would never work for one , I think their bull shit for a regular provider (no disrespect meant) I can't even imagine why anyone would do that unless they are touring & don't have time to place ads etc , still I don't get it

Being in upstate NY near Rochester, the agency's here seen like pimp-light want-a-be(my opinion) . They call each other out by real name in threads. Called out clients by handle, a few by real name on a open forum. And have done that with a few indy's. And wrapped in drama both on and off the board. However some members seem to like them. So its all my opinion. For its size Rochester is blessed with many providers. A micro Texas, where NY is in a civil war with Albany(run by NYC) and NYC winning over the rest of the state( sorry drifting off topic ). I see Indy as the only way to go for both sides of the hobby.

Now if you travel over the boarder into Canada, ether way, does not matter. But I still rather Indy. Yet Agency's in near by Canada look to be easy, safe, discreet, and drama free. I would use one in Canada. But not in upstate NY. As it looks many in Buffalo and a few in Rochester do most of there hobby in Niagara Falls or Fort Eire on the Canadian side. Other parts of NY many seem to go to Montreal. Toronto gets guys from NY as well. With many going over to Canada somewhere for just, hit a strip club. Call a provider. Then back home to NY for a day trip.

I prefer to deal with a lady directly, and find that an independent lady is much more flexible to my sometimes "odd" schedule. I have had no difficulty researching a lady I am interested in seeing, and then connecting with her.

Agencies inherently are not evil. But there is always the unknown factor that some of them are, and I often don't have enough information to know which are which. I have dealt with some very competent, very good agencies--especially when I was starting out.

It seems the best attributes of a good agency are helping to get screened with a number of ladies all at once, having a plan b, plan c, etc. when you're looking for a short notice appointment, of having a greater variety of ladies with minimal homework. Since I have built up a decent base of references, I rarely look for short notice appointments, and I prefer repeat visits over variety, agencies are not where I look any more.

Though having said that, I did meet my ATF when she was with an agency, so I have a very hard time saying they are all bad. In fact I know a number of ladies from there, including the owner. And though my ATF is now a former employee she and the owner are still close friends.

I prefer Indy primarily because I can browse their websites, and read their reviews, and make a decision.

my impression: seems like a sex shop. idk if the girls can work only if they get a request, or if they 'have' to be there say from 10-4 and take as many appts as possible. ive never discussed what it was like working in an agency, with someone that has.

never worked in one.

it could be worth it. some ladies, are HORRIBLE at the business aspect of being a provider. they just want to be told where to meet, who, and know that theyre getting paid. they dont understand marketing, sales, etc-they just understand sex = $$, and could really care less about extended appointments. (that has been my observation)

i also think agencies could be good for a lady touring a new area, as mentioned. i hear some agencies up north are great to work for. (but i havent really 'interviewed' the ladies that said that. so i dont know much behind the statement.)

this is just my opinion on the topic.
