I'm really curious as to anyone else's opinions on the Casey Anthony Trial that's taking place right now. She's spun herself this dreadful web of lies and now it's taken a total 360 and is coming back to her full-force.
Guilty? Innocent? Mentally unstable? Munchhausens? Sociopath?

What do you think??

This case and so many others saddens my heart:'(I have no sympathy for someone who hurts a child. Anyone who harms a child in my opinion is all the fucked up shit you mentioned and more. Whatever happens She will have to face God in the end-Hopefully She gets forgiveness if it is required-God bless little Caylee-Casey will have to deal with God when it is her time.

Well not that I am the voice of theology but God doesnt have the spirit of punishment. Anyway, she is a definite sociopath. That was exhibited during the period her child was missing, her behavior, i.e., partying clubbing, shopping lying about where she was etc. Then stating she would look for her child herself all the while claiming a fictitious nanny skipped town with her child. The crying in court yesterday was a ploy to invoke sympathy, not to mention her lawyers attempt to discredit her father by saying she was abused. They are just trying to keep her out of jail. Symptoms of a sociopath...manipulative and conning, pathological lying, lack of remorse, shame or guilt, promiscuous sexual behavior, irresponsibility/unreliability, contemptuous of those who seek to understand them, secretive; now you tell me…

I have to disagree with you there drk. I think all of the tears so far have been 100% sincere remorse felt by Casey for Casey. This woman cares only about herself. My theory is that she was trying to punish the child or find a way to knock her out so mommy could go party and killed the kid on accident. I don't buy the sexual abuse story, or the BS about the child being found dead in the pool. IMHO, Casey's attorney isn't worth a shit either. The man can't CX if his client's life depended upon it. Oh wait, it does! He saw this for what it is. A ticket to lawyer fame and stardom, which I'm sure he'll get, but he hasn't done jack shit to help his client.

We may never know what really happened, or why it happened, but the fact is that an innocent girl died, or was killed, by no fault of her own and a life was cut tragically short. If the child died because of malice, I hope that justice is done, in this life or the next.

I can't believe her tears. I might buy sobbing maybe, like when her mother broke down on the stand, but her emotions (when they do come out) seem so forced. Her attorney is a pathetic excuse and hasn't helped her case in the slightest. I guess that's what you get for hiring a novice to take on a high-profile case.

Without a doubt she'll take this all with her to her grave, although coming clean would prove substantial even this many years later, like so many sociopaths before her.

With regard to the sobbing, Im simply saying it wasnt genuine tears over the demise of her daughter...other wise those tears would have been shed LONG ago...note when they found the child did she shed one tear? Not thT I recall...tears for fear of the ultimate penalty handed down by a jury of her peers...check the chronology...hell I have a son and if he went missing or was found dead...you better believe Im crying like Ned Beatty in Deliverance but once the tears are done...IM HUNTING SOMEONE'S ASS THE FUCK DOWN!

I've seen some of the trial coverage and watched some of Casey Anthony's interview with detectives. What strikes me is her extraordinary ability to lie so readily that I think she actually believes her own lies until she's cornered and has no way out.
She definitely suffers from some type of acute psychopathy to have committed such an atrocious act of filicide.

I think the real *sin* is how the media is able to sensationalize a horrific tragedy for their own gain. A beautiful, happy, innocent child died an abhorrent death...and all anyone is talking about is the who, what, and how.

I can't bring myself to watch or even listen to the all the hype from this case. Shame on all of us who glamorize the death of an innocent child.

Liki I hear you and understand...I guess it depends on your point of view. An innocent life gone far too soon. But it also serves as an eye opener to me because many of us do walk around with blinders on and dont realize what we take for granted. However, you may be among the very few who can imagine that childs life without thinking about how her life ended. I, myself, cannot separate the two...yes the media is the catalyst that continues to keep us divided but the one fact remains, that child is gone and someone MUST be held accountable and its not the media.

the thought of a innocent child being brutally murdered and duct taped (3 pieces on the mouth) sends chills through my body , i do not believe her tears are "sincre" i believe she is a arty animal out of control just a selfish human being in general, there are other ways to get out of being a parent rather thsn murder
