It wasn't an apology..
It was a prepared statement read in front of a few select people... Every person in the room was hand selected...
The media that was invited , were allowed to ask no questions.. Statement was read, Show over..
His wife was not there..
This was a check mark on a page along a path of a 12 step program dealing with his so called sex addiction.. Nothing more...

So when is Elin going to apologize -or read a prepared statement- for whatever she didn't do at home?

Elin will not make a statement.
I was disappointed that the Olympics bumped SNL. Think of the SNL version of the press conference . . .

I think he should've gone with the "Charlie Harper excuse". "The girl was a nymphomaniac contortionist with Daddy issues. What was I supposed to do!?"

I agree with this assessment. Some of the golf media even boycotted the show. Standing at the podium surrounded by satin curtains with the eerie silence, it was surreal almost like a funeral.
I hate to beat up a guy when he's apologizing, but this was all business with a little nod to his wife. Like she said..."time and actions will tell". It will take a lot of work on Tiger and his wife's part, but it's their business. Outsiders shouldn't get involved in their personal lives. He's just a really good golfer who's only human.
Lot's of damage has been done to Tiger's image. He'll get back into golf, publicly be a good boy, pose for some family photo ops, and secretly miss all the strange pussy. It's possible he's got it all out of his system now. Time will tell, but he'll be watched a whole lot closer now.

Josslyn James demanding an apology was ridiculous. "I'm sorry you agreed to consensual sex with me even though you knew I was married."
He only owes an apology to his wife, maybe. If she was taking care of business at home, then yea he owes her an apology. If not, then no. Does Mick Jagger owe us an apology? Does Jude Law? Does Michael Jordan?
Like Chris Rock said, "A man is only as faithful as his options"

I never knew Tiger Woods had a cape on...
What was his Super Hero insignia?
Did it look something like this
The point being the PUBLIC holds Athletes at too high of a standard and when they falter and show that they are human then the public is outraged and disappointed....
Quick to jump on the dick when they are doing good, and quick to bash 'em when they f*** up...
Why is Tiger Woods different from other athletes that have gotten caught doing immoral acts Kobe Bryant, Barry Bonds, Darryl Strawberry, Michael Irvin, Michael Vick, Pete Rose, Mark McGwire the list goes on and on and on

So your saying the apology should have gone to his wife as well as his family...?

ridiculous......he doesn't owe anyone an apology except his wife.
reading a prepared statement, covering all his bases, trying to save his reputation, how many months after the fact.......should have happened months ago,in private,to his wife. The public has no right to expect an apology.he is an imperfect person, like the rest of us,only with many more temptaions and opportunities to stray. We shouldn't hold him up to such high standards or let our kids do the same.
Josslyn James demanding an apology is a joke. She knew what she was gettting into, the risks, the downside.
