Greetings:

I'm vacation brainstorming. I'm looking at three cities in Texas and one in Oklahoma. Part of the obvious reason is provider access. But thats not why I'm posting the question. Other than the beautiful ladies, what does Houston have to offer to a single guy looking to bumb around. Historical sites, museums, stuff that the normal tourist may not see. Beer can house, Howard Hughes grave, La Carafe bar, Harris County jail, Jamal skateboard park, Casa Lama, Alley Theatre, Market Square in The Woodlands, Phoenicia Deli, Rockefellers, Debakey anatomy museum, Spec's Downtown...

...any of the dive bars down by the ship channel, the beautiful crime free montrose, more spas than you can visit in a year and the Walmart on Dunvale at 3 am.

Then there are a couple of ladies worth seeing.

There's a funeral museum on the north side of town that's pretty trippy...

Night fishing in Gavleston is cool, Haak Winery in League city I think not far and could be interesting.

If you are into golf you can do it pretty much year round.
