Default Calling all Network Admins!!!

I have an issue I'm wasting too much time on and I need a fresh pair of eyes.

Here is the setup:

I have a Group Policy Object setup to route all my client's Windows Updates to my WSUS server. The WSUS server then fans out the updates. THe WSUS server structures the pc's according to their OU.

In WSUS, it detects the presence of the Windows 7 machine that I've been testing, however, the actual Windows 7 system is not receiving the WSUS Update GPO I have setup. It doesn't even list it under the GPO's that have been filtered out.

This issue is because of Windows 7 somehow because I can use the same GPO, OU, and username for an XP machine and works fine.

Any Ideas?

Man I don't have much experience with Windows 7, BUT! I do have lots of experience with GOOGLE lol... After Vista I said Windows and switched to Linux so...

I did manage to find this on the TechNet forum that addresses the Group Policy and WSUS Update issue you are describing. Hopefully that will point you in the correct direction.

I'm also efficient in Google, lol..I ran across that site a while back, but it did nothing for me. I need a break and maybe I'll find it after a good break.

Thanks for trying though.
