An additional point about PSAs. I was told, after quite a few "visits" by Dr. Ham Paws that one should not ejaculate for three or four days prior to the test. But that you should ejaculate a day or so before a DRE (digital rectal exam), although the latter isn't that important.
My urologist also collected a sample of the fluid for testing, which revealed an e-coli infection, probably the result of pee in my wet suit (aka warming the wet suit) while diving in Lake Travis (aka Lake good thing the treat the water before I drink it). You can also get it from unprotected anal, but I don't think that would happen around here.
