Wilson gives the team the best chance to win. Every game.

The Ravens have the worst pass defense in the NFL this year!!! With no premier pass rushers. Wilson looked like Pickett in the 1st half. 4 sacks, 70yrds passing and no TDs. He had the lowest rating in the NFL last week. Fields QBR is 10pts higher than Wilson’s. Tomlin wasn’t too happy with the INT. Said he shouldn’t have thrown that pass. I’m not giddy about Wilson. He has to play better. We’ll see I guess.

Time and time again, all throughout the history of the rivalry, stats can be thrown out the window. No QB in the rivalry has ever really LIT UP the other team. Except maybe Charlie Batch that one time lol.
Wilson’s 4-0 as a starter this year. That's the only stat that matters.

Stats and facts do matter. The bottom line, Wilson has to play better.
You think Tomlin and Smith are ignoring these stats Tommy?

You can bet they are looking at them. That’s why Fields was in at the end of the game.

Admittedly, I thought it was a dumb move at the time, but it's worth mentioning so did everyone from Roethlisberger to Hall of Famers Terry Bradshaw and Shannon Sharpe. So, literally almost everybody was wrong about benching Fields for Wilson. All kudos to Mike Tomlin and Omar Khan: riverboat gamblers and professional football badasses.

Yep…making a QB switch at 4-2 was ballsy! Kahn has already proven to be a stud! We may have 3 rookie O linemen starting Thursday. And they are all good!! Two are late round picks. Wilson with a 3rd! Herbig last year a 3rd. Plus his FA signings have almost all panned out at team friendly deals.
Tomlin still needs to win a playoff game without Ben though. Lol
This is the year.

Lol. That's not at all why Fields was in at the end of the game, nevermind the fact that he slid too early to get the first down that would have iced it.
You're simply ignoring the history of the Steelers/Ravens rivalry for the sake of argument. That's just silly.

No doubt wilson should and needs to play better but divisional games are way different. Much tougher no matter if ur opponent is 9 and 0 or 1 and ten. You can throw out stats and records period.
No matter how he plays, there will be some who insist fields should be out qb and those who o sost wilson should be.....
Everyone has an opinion. Mine is wilson can throw better and has better command of the field.
Than the kid. Lets see who he does the rest of the year. The only stat that matters is win or loss

I look for Russ to have a bounce back game and play better. He has a ton of experience playing in bad weather. Smith has to get him to throw more to the tight ends in the middle of field and cut back on moon balls. Herbig should have a big game against their 3rd string tackle. I’m predicting a Minka interception against famous Jameis. I’m thinking 28/7

Agreed 100%.
Only a newbie would worry about stats in a Steelers/Ravens game. The only stat that matters is the W-L column.

The coaches look at it. In EVERY sport. Every NFL team uses PFF analysis.

Lol. Tomlin said in his weekly presser that he hasn't reviewed the Ravens game at all. Not a single snap. He's onto Cleveland.

You’re very naive or a newbie if you don’t think stats matter. It’s how coaches decide who plays and how contracts are negotiated. Period. Tomlin can see with his own eyes. If Wilson continues to put up the same numbers, he’s not getting a big contract from anyone.

Keep illustrating how very little you know about the Steelers/Ravens rivalry.
Besides, Russell just had his best game as a Steeler the week before in Washington. You're hand wringing about one single game under par, a game they won, by the way, is ridiculous.
