Senators elected this year have 6 years in office.
Trump only has four.
Another one third of the senate have 4 years left in their terms.
The last third have two years left.

Per the Congressional Research Services the number of 1st term Senators the last several elections has been about a dozen. In that some of these turnovers are due to prior senators actually retiring, Senators actually losing their seats due to an election is only a handful out of the 100.

My point being, Senators really have nothing to worry about any Presidents requests, as they usually get re-elected, thus over 90% will outlast Trump regardless.

So. Doesn't make it right.
Trumpf already has plans to get around the Senate's approval with some 1998 bs law. This ain't right. At least mitch is standing up and saying not on my watch.

I support President Elect Trump, but can not go along with any recess appointments.

The Senate’s job is to devise and CONSENT, not advise and rubber stamp.

If a nominee cannot get that consent, Trump should simply send up another name for consideration.

The recess appointment process is a Constitutional process.

Historical recess appointments for comparison.
Reagan 240
Bush 77
Clinton 139
Bush Jr. 171
Obama 32
Trump 0 (McConnell refused to put the Senate in recess)
Biden 0 (The Senate confirmed all nominees.)

The GOP controlled Senate stayed in session for four years so Trump could not use the recess appointment process. Again the fight to save this republic isn't left vs. right, is globalists vs. Nationalists. The GOP isn't on Trumps side either.

What is critical to understand is which party has the more vulnerable seats, plus the Dems are already threatening to Primary some of them.

The reason the GOP focused on 3 (arguably 4, counting PA) Senate seats was not just because it would give them a Senate majority now, turns out it pay dividends for 8-10 years if managed correctly - where managed correctly means: Ditching Mitch to loosen up campaign funding for the new majority candidates.

correct

now about that Constitution

According to Article II Section 2 of the Constitution, the president can appoint or fill up the vacancies that happen during a recess without the Senate's approval, but those positions will end at the end of the next legislative session unless Congress approves the appointment.

nothing Mitch the Mandarin Bitch can do about it. NADA

Correct.
