OK, I'm starting to have some slight doubts. Etherea has some interesting info. And she's hot. If you're good at multi-tasking you can whack off while you learn a little about how big money politics works.

I'm even wondering if'n ya'll understand basic IP communications. Starlink is just a carrier interface. Think of it like a Cat6A cable or WiFi router, just the next hop in a chain. Said chain can be broken on any link.
As to Linux, there is not a bloody thing you can't do with the system with little effort. You can turn anything off or on in the blink of an eye at any moment or slice and dice any way you want.
if=eth0
sudo ip link set $if down

Shouldn't this thread be over in the Technical forum?

Back to topic of: Starlink cheated and gave election to trumpf. With Starlink just being a node in the middle, as opposed to an endpoint, it would have to be an egregious man-in-the-middle hack, which could easily be avoided with basic end to end encryption. Not to mention turning off their connectivity links when not needed.
Stated differently, it is a basic function of the end points to protect the communication between them so that no node in the communication path can listen-in to the conversation.
Note sure if ya'll are familiar with the command tracert or traceroute (older). It can show you how many hops (links in the chain) occur between two end points. Star link would be in the middle of the chain most likely.

winn is correct.
But, there's several dozen over the US so there's more coverage than just the seven swing states.
However, Nov 12th, news report, CNET, Starlink-4682 burned up during reentry over Oklahoma.
There's currently approx 6 thous Starlinks currently in operation.
So dozens more need to be fried somehow to stop Skynet from interfering with human activity.
And then, a total new vote is required. Approx 4 years from now so there's time to deal with Starlink.

BTW, Check this link:

What you said there is entire misleading and patently false on so many fronts.
What you call "Starlink", in that context, is basically a glorified cable modem, except instead of interfacing with a cable, it uses a satellite dish. On the other side of said cable modem is the LAN which is comprised of one or more end points (nodes). Likely tabulating devices and a single terminal for accessing ekky while working.
Said "cable modem" would not have a frick'n clue what encrypted data would be flowing through an encrypted pipe to a distant end point. At best, it would only know the next hop towards the ultimate data destination. In this case a satellite overhead, as part of a constellation of satellites, which likewise would only know the next hop, i.e. link, in the communication chain.

Did some digging around on this.
Turns out to be rather easy if you can avoid the Censorship Industrial Complex (CIC). Turns out Starlink was not deployed to all the swing states, just the ones that got hammered by the hurricane. Also, the voting/tabulation machines were not connected to the link.
They used it to access needed websites such as accessing and validating voter photo IDs and such. I suspect also keeping up with office emails and tracking emergency supplies and what not. Though it wouldn't surprise if some were checking the ekky political forum as well.
BTW: this wouldn't even be needed in most places (swing States) that voted for the Kackler, as they don't do positive voter verification even.
