I agree, but even given the poll's Orwellian phrasing, the results indicate the public's skepticism of the transgender mania

If you had a friend or loved one that thought they were a dog you wouldn’t feed them Alpo and make them shit in the yard. You’d seek a doctor to help them realize they’re actually a human. A man who thinks they’re a woman, or visa-versa, would be treated the same in a sane society.

I didn't ask them. I asked you. To back up your statement. And you can't.
(keep it up and I'll ask you to back up that inane comment about "50/50 chance of survival" too)
Meanwhile...much of what you post seems an affirmation of the very topic of this thread. Whew. Irony.

I literally gave you a poll backing up exactly what you asked for, did you read it?

what else is new for far left Vox? they love to flap their gums in the name of far left causes.
this isn't about trans rights, it's about the left wanting to elevate trans causes above all else and make them a protected class. that is a violation of equality and discrimination against anyone who isn't trans. transphobia is the far left's dog whistle to rile up liberals who aren't smart enough to know they are being played. and i'm sure some actually believe all this nonsense.
any parent who would allow a minor to transition is unfit as a parent. allowing convicts to use tax dollars to transition is yet another total waste of money on a convict. most of these convicts are doing this simply to be put in a woman's prison. the vast majority of these convicts wanting to transition are men. go figure. if and when they get out of prison then let then transition .. on their own dime.

I don’t need an explanation of why the street is wet in the middle of a rainstorm. Maybe you do. If so, take a look at the study Travelinghere posted. The ads on one side and lack thereof on the other is enough for me to assume someone smarter than you or I on the matter has already drawn the conclusions that have always been obvious to most.

You don’t know how many of these people off themselves? Look into it. And who’d blame them? Waking up one day to realize you’ve made decisions, or have let them be made for you, on a whim that now prevent you from having a meaningful, fulfilled life isn’t a good thing for one’s mental health.

welcome to the 21st trans century
More than 40% of transgender adults in the US have attempted suicide
https://williamsinstitute.law.ucla.e...press-release/
A new study from the Williams Institute at UCLA School of Law finds that 81% of transgender adults in the U.S. have thought about suicide, 42% of transgender adults have attempted it, and 56% have engaged in non-suicidal self-injury over their lifetimes.
these people are making bad ill advised choices and suffering the consequences for it. and you want more of this nonsense? at tax payer expense?
you realize what this means, yes? tax payers are being forced to pay for people to commit suicide.
brilliant!!!

Several Specious of Small Furry LQBTQ++ Animals Gathered Together in a Cave and Grooving with a Pict
Wowzers! Lot's of specious news (**cough, **cough) sources collected here. Let's see if I have them all assembled, in no particular order: - GLAAD - LGBTQ advocacy organization
- ABC - the Always Been Clinton network
- Ground Media - pioneering the fusion of research and storytelling
- Data for Progress - the think tank for the future of progressivism
- Vox - It’s not alarmist: A second Trump term really is an extinction-level threat to democracy
- The Bulwark - was founded to provide analysis and reporting in defense of America’s liberal democracy. That’s it. That’s the mission.
- Last, but not least - Lil' ole' you
Shoot howdy, I didn't even realize Vox was still in business. Regardless, you can keep your shoes and socks on during the math portion contained herein.
So the collective brain trust above has determined that the Trump campaign has expended somewhere between 33%(ABD/Vox)-66%(The Bulwark) of their advertising dollars towards alienating less than 1/2 of 1% of the US population? "...Given that trans people make up barely half of 1 percent of the US adult population..." BTW: Assuming that is "voting age" only. Let's assume it is for sake of argument, though Pew Research pegs the over all total closer to 1.5 percent.
I would intuitively question looking through that end of the binoculars. Would not the more glaringly obvious conclusion therefor be: The Trump campaign has expended 100% of their advertising dollars towards compelling 99.5% of the voting population to vote for them?!?
BTW: I almost hesitate to mention it, but most of the "alleged" ads are very specifically targeted to "incarcerated" folk of that ilk. I'm not entirely sure of their overall incarceration rate, but suspect it to be pretty low. Maybe in the 2%-3% on the high end. So that means 2%-3% of 1/2% of a percent of the population is directly targeted. That is super-double-duper miniscule.
You know... the thing... the Greater Good... Come on man!

Reality’s not malleable. Putting people on the social transition > blockers > hormones > surgery crazy train is putting their life in danger, with a survival rate lower than a Marine on Iwo Jima.

And there in lies the problem with the Populist spinners sensationalizing this issue for political purposes.
Puberty blockers are generally given for the primary purpose of allowing vulnerable / confused children time to sort out their identities. These have been around for decades with a clear safety record and have been a godsend for children with precocious puberty. Mainstream health care providers following the science will not put children on hormones until they come of age. Yes there are zealots on every issue that think they have the answers including ignorant parents and school administrators. What is at stake here is more about how (the power granted to the government) is going to allow parents to raise their children.
Most of the suicides related to this issue are a result of a lack of empathy, understanding and or hate. A significant % of those saying they are trans and starting on puberty blockers never go through with surgeries or hormone therapy and mature out of the state. Trans that do complete the transition and reach the age of 25 have a suicide rate commensurate with the general population. The recent medical journals have much to say on this issue.
What seems clear to me is that as science progresses and new and powerfully scary options become available. Americans needs more science education that does not come from the thirsty political power seekers. That there are issues of regulation that should be the topic here and being worked out in congress and not crucifying children or even misguided parents.
Of course that presumes educated legislators that have not been captured by special interests.
