MAGA using the word "fair" in any sense is hysterical.
There are a few issues with them releasing the transcript. First, Trump et al will not be "fair" no matter what. MAGA only wants this for ammo, and will twist it to their uses, no matter what is in it. But it doesn't matter. Cuz now they get to use the non-release of it as ammo anyway. Haters gonna hate. Deny it if you want, but history is pretty damning here.
So why should they? And it's not like media routinely releases reporter's notes, unedited footage, etc. I certainly never would, if I was an editor or manager.
I personally don't give AF whether they release it or not. Pro-Right outlets like Fox, Newsmax, Townhall are so disingenuous and manipulative that it defies belief. CBS and Harris can't win here, no matter what. There is zero possibility that someone from one of these outlets will say something like "yeah, ya know, we looked at this and there really isn't much there. Thanks for helping us understand that."
