Now here is a true story on how a STD ruins lives. Back in the early 80's my wife and I were friends with a couple. Both of them worked in the medical field as nurses. She was expecting there 4th child when she found out that she had herpes. Long story short her husband was having an affair with a married doctor at the hospital. The husband and wife were working different shifts at the hospital. You see the female doctor and the now ex-husband were carriers of herpes, meaning they did not exhibit the any signs of the disease. So they were having sex when ever possible. The child was born c-session but has herpes and his mother has herpes, the full blown type with breakouts of the herpes sores. Because of the STD and the affair they divorced. This had an immediate impact on at least 10 lives that I know of and not to mention on how many others were infected including the doctor's ex-husband. If you think you are immune to STD you are sadly mistaken. These were educated people in the medical field that should have known better but didn't. People need to stop being so naive because any exchange of body fluid can cause you to get an STI or STD. If you do not believe it than educate yourself. There are plenty of web sites that can do this for you. Here is the latest article about where in ND they are on the rise. Play safe.
