Weren't you the one complaining about hate speech and red flag laws? And yet you write that?
Nothing obstructionist about Gaetz filing the motion - it was in the conference rules that they all agreed to when McCarthy was initially elected speaker. Rules are there for a reason
Nothing wrong with principled America First conservatives taking a stand against the uni-party and taking action when the Speaker broke his word. I appreciate principled stands unlike the crazy ass leftists who just vote as they are told to do so
Now that said, no one will know whether this is a great move or a poor one until we know who the new speaker is. IMO surprisingly McCarthy wasn't bad, but he also had flaws and when you break your word, you lose trust. As long as the new speaker is more conservative and focused on advancing the conservative agenda and not that of the uni-party, then this is a good move. But if we get a RINO, then it's a bad move
