Da plane da plane
F35 gone missing after pilot ejects and puts jet on autopilot . Search underway for aircraft.
Already peculiar. Right? Well.....
No mention why pilot ejected
Also there was another jet with him. He didn't see where the damn jet went?

Well, it could be a software issue on these high-tech new planes. All of them are fly by wire designs and just like the BOEING 737 max jets that were grounded due to a software glitch; technology vs. the ability to fly analog controlled planes is a bitch. And to think = one BOEING 737 max is about 120-130mm each, these 175MM dollar fighter-planes is over 1 X the cost of just one. Maybe the time to pay the manufacturers of these over-priced fighters needs to be considered in a tight economy. Costs of these planes are below:
10. Lockheed Martin F-16 Block 70/72: $63 million
9. Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornet: up to $66.9 million
8. Shenyang FC-31: $70 million
7. Saab JAS 39E/F Gripen: $85 million
6. Chengdu J-20: $110 million
5. Dassault Rafale: around $115 million
4. Boeing F-15EX: $117 million
3. Eurofighter Typhoon: around $124 million
2. Lockheed Martin F-22 Raptor: $143 million
1. Lockheed Martin F-35: $177 million

Looking back now, If I were the pilot, I might not have opened the chute!
there was a line in the first Top Gun movie where the irate CO says something about flying a plane load of fke dog shit out of Hong Cong . . .
This Marine may never fly anything anywhere ever again.

Here's a little write up about the Missing plane and a video of the crash site. As far as I am concerned it's still missing.

de plane malfunctioned. only reason to eject like that.
prolly lost rudder control, the pilot would have directed the aircraft out to sea but was not able to.

It down now or there refueling it.
How long can a F-35 stay in the air without refueling?
The F-35's top speed of 1,200 mph (Mach 1.6) places it among the fastest fighter jets in the world. Can the F-35 fly long distances without refueling? The F-35 can cover up to 1,900 miles when refueled in the air, thanks to its impressive fuel capacity.
