What amazes me more is that some of these guys seem have nothing more to do than to monitor escort ads .... I sometimes wonder if those who post here often ever actually participate?

I may be wrong in my read but based on my take away from Men's Room, hobby has reached the same point where the real economy is. Prices are high, and service ain't any better or as advertised, so most guys are sticking to regulars or cutting down on hobby, being very picky. Its a discretionary expense after all.

I'm guilty of this, I think. I don't monitor the ads, per say. However, I do window shop a lot. I think of it like buying a new car. I do my research to make sure I find the make/model/color/options that I want(and make sure it's in my price range). Theeeeeeeeen, I go for a test drive!

The increase in rates is not come commensurate to salary increases, etc. it is discretionary spending and…yes, we absolutely need to find the best value.

On top of rates, quality has diminished even to the point of no call no shows (I’ve had 4 so far this week), more drama than ever (reason why I dipped out last time, it appears to be worse now). It appears quality may have diminished on both ends tbh.

I earn a healthy living and even for me, rates are starting to become unattainable to sustain regular visits.

Rates/Service discussions are not allowed on oh2 co-ed for whatever reason. But in LR, there is thread every week or so on this topic. Just today someone said that Hobby in DFW is dead citing the very same reasons.

It could also be that job market is good and lot of girls have regular jobs, and hobby is part time, side, discretionary gig for them. If so, good for them but it may hurt those ladies who rely only on hobby for income.

That site never ceases to amaze me. They won't let you talk about rates or service, but you can out a member (so long as it's a guy being outed by a provider).

for me I monitor the ads because I typically see someone every day. Always good to find something new or exciting or to see when old friends are online and available .

I am always searching for next girl on my list for my daily meet. If you make over 300 extra after your daily needs, why not spend it on good companions. If my extra is only 300, I wouldn’t be seeing 500 girl.
