Reminds me of the husband and wife who used "doing the laundry" as a euphemism for having sex. When they were out with friends and wanted to go home and party, they'd excuse themselves by saying, "We have to go do the laundry."


On one such night, after they arrived home, the woman went into the bathroom to freshen up. She emerged looking like she was ready for action, only to find the husband curled up and half asleep.


"Honey," she said, "I thought we were going to do the laundry tonight."


"I'm sorry, dear," he replied. "But tonight it was just a small load, so I did it by hand."
