Remember when some crazy ass leftists claimed the Trump tax cuts only benefited the rich.

Yet another leftist lie exposed

IRS data show the top 1% of earners paid 42.3% of the country’s income taxes in 2020. That’s a two-decade high in the share of taxes the 1% pay.

Top 5% paid 62.7% of all income taxes in that year.

Meanwhile the bottom 50% paid virtually nothing in comparison

Even those figures are misleading. The bottom earners not only paid nothing into a system they take everything out of, they also receive refunds on taxes they never paid, through the EITC. That’s why you see all the sales at Walmart and Best Buy during tax season.

The stores want the financially illiterate who don’t budget or save a penny to come in and blow their windfall on shit they don’t need and can’t afford. Fuck feeding the kids, the school will take care of that, I’m getting a new 75” smart tv.
