So this isn’t xenophobic anymore???
Senile Biden to impose new restrictions on travelers from China amid COVID outbreaks
The Biden administration is planning new coronavirus precautions on travelers arriving from China due to a surge in COVID-19 cases and concerns about the lack of transparent reporting data from the country, federal health officials said Wednesday.
Beginning Jan. 5, all air passengers at least 2 years old originating from China will be required to show a negative COVID-19 test no more than two days before their departure from China, Hong Kong or Macau.
The requirement will apply to all air passengers, regardless of nationality and vaccination status, officials said. They did not say how long the policy will be in place.
Airlines must confirm the COVID-19 test result or documentation of recovery from all passengers before they board. Passengers who tested positive more than 10 days before the flight can provide documentation of recovery from COVID-19 in lieu of a negative test result.
Passengers flying through Incheon International Airport in Seoul, Toronto Pearson International Airport and Vancouver International Airport on their way to the United States will be required to provide a negative COVID-19 test no more than two days before their departure to the United States if they’ve been in China in the last two days, officials said.

The criticism had nothing to do the the restrictions. Calling it the Chinese Virus is the outlier. If Trump would have said, the virus that _originated in China_, it would be different.
Now if you think Trump was in error or not is moot, Biden did, hence he is free to use the term.
Xenophobic: having or showing a dislike of or prejudice against people from other countries.

FALSE
It was criticism from Senile Biden and other crazy ass leftists about Trump's travel restrictions on people from China.
Had zero to do with calling it the Chinese Virus (which by the way was accurate)
Senile Biden is a hypocrite. Not surprising given he is also a bald faced liar

In the 2020 debate Biden cleared things up , "My response is he is xenophobic, but not because he shutdown access from China. And he did it late after 40 countries had already done that."
Trump is the one who lies. He didn't take the virus serious at first. He compared it to the flu. I'm sure you know how he downplayed it.
This is about a month after the cited tweet. I'm not sure how clearer Biden's position could be:
https://www.cnn.com/2020/04/03/polit...rus/index.html
“Joe Biden supports travel bans that are guided by medical experts, advocated by public health officials, and backed by a full strategy,” Kate Bedingfeld, Biden’s deputy campaign manager, told CNN. “Science supported this ban, therefore he did too.”
...
“You know we have right now a crisis with the coronavirus, emanating from China,” Biden said then. “The national emergency and worldwide alerts. The American people need to have a president who they can trust what he says about it. That he is going to act rationally about it. In moments like this, this is where the credibility of a president is most needed, as he explains what we should and should not do. This is no time for Donald Trump’s record of hysterical xenophobia and fear mongering to lead the way instead of science.”

No, it's not, by the information you provided and apparently don't understand "The requirement will apply to all air passengers, regardless of nationality and vaccination status". This will include North Americans, South Americans, Europeans, Africans, Australians, and Asians or maybe you just don't understand the definition.

So 7 months after the fact Senile Biden goes into CYA mode? Or doesn't even remember what the hell he said and when?
Sure, you go ahead and believe that and try to cover up for the dementia patient. The facts were clear back when Senile Biden first made the irresponsible comment

LoL such horseshit. Viruses are commonly named after where they were thought to come from, no qualifiers added or expected. Just more made up garbage to pretend your preconceived notions have a leg to stand on. They don’t.
Off the top of my head, I’m sure there’s more:
Spanish flu
West Nile virus
Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS)
Zika
Ebola
All very common, and nobody screams “RAYCIS!!!”, because it isn’t.

Trump may or may not be a racist. I really don't care. If people don't understand his mental and personalty faults by now, they never will. Even if true, that's not the real the reason that he framed what he said the way he did. He always stresses the word China in a derogatory manner. Listen to his speeches. It very clear that he does. That is the difference between what he said and what Biden is doing.
Let's look at this quote about the press during an interview: You know why I do it? I do it to discredit you all and demean you all so that when you write negative stories about me no one will believe you. It's similar to why he didn't really care if Ukraine investigate Biden, he just wanted them to say that they would and he'd take it from there. He said the same with the last election. He just kept spreading falsehoods enough to convince his base the the election was stolen. This is his modus operandi. He can't articulate anything coherent, so he attacks and vilifies. And his base eats it up. I wish Biden would have articulated that, but I really don't think he's the sharpest tool in the shed. As we can see, playing the race card never works.

So what if he talks about China in a derogatory manner? We have to curtsy to a brutal police state? Interesting that we have no problem with “PUTIN IS HITLER!!!” ad nauseam, on every channel, but when it comes to China, who’s far more of an economic and military threat, we’re expected to suck the General Secretary’s dick.
It’s a consumerism thing. We need those Chinese slaves pumping out iPhones and useless plastic shit to sell at Walmart, so pretend China isn’t currently putting Muslims in concentration camps.
