You're right, but still... what are you expecting to see in the opener?

Bring him up slowly, Wait for the O line to gel let him learn the system. A Rogers rode the bench for 3 years

I think the Steelers have a good shot at winning. Cincinnati doesn't have the offense they had last year.
The line is +6.5, if it gets to +7.5, I'll be in hard, but I don't think it will

Yes but Brett farve was their qb, big difference. Steelers never give up a season no matter what. They play to win and if they think Pickett can get them there.....he is going in

It was malpractice on the Steelers brain trust not to significantly upgrade the OL in the off-season. They had a ton of money. They are no better off than last year with that group. They have really good skill players but it won’t matter if they can’t block anyone. Lots of 3 and outs. Puts the D on the field for lengthy periods. No matter how hard analysts try to make the game complicated, it’s very simple. The more physical teams win 90% of the time. As an old coach of mine said, “footballs a simple game, be the hammer, not the nail”. It’s truly that simple.

... Crikey! ... bleedin' NFL league football is tough to watch.
... Extra time and nobody wants to win...
Surely reminds me of me-own playing days. ...

But at least Boswell made the field goal at the end. ...

I could have told you a thousand things about what might happen and I never would have guessed what happened today. Holy shit, what a rollercoaster.

I would have preferred to lose the game than lose TJ for months. Tribensky looked like exactly what he is....an average qb at best. The online is horrible

If it's torn bad, it's a season ender for Watts. With the sucky 0 line the running game is ineffective at best. At least Trubisky is more mobile that Ben was.

They’re saying it won’t require surgery and it’ll be 6ish weeks to recover. Better than all season but still shitty. Watt is the most dynamic, game changing player in the league. Hopefully he’ll get back to 100%.

I still don't think it makes sense to risk Pickett in this offense, but what are you expecting from his first full start?
