Thanks, that picture of Vincents pizza in the article looks goddamned gross.

Like someone ate the cheese and toppings off and then puked it back up right onto the crust.

Tell me that it actually tastes good, I've eaten horse steak on Custers burial grounds reservation that I didn't know was horse until the wall street journal did an article about it, I can handle the truth.

To be clear, the horse steak wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either, funky.

The worst part was I called everyboy "Wilbur" for three days afterwards.

Vincent’s is SO bad. Bishop’s, 3-4 miles east of there on 30, makes a good pie if looking in that area.

Fioris, Campitis, Dontes in no specific order. Mineos and Aiellos TOTALLY overrated.

... Hey Mate - surely forgot about Dontae's - I ate there
one time when Dorido's was too crowded.
And have gotten take-away pizza from there.

Good Tucker! ... and the little peperonis that
curl up when cooked. ...

Forgot about Fiori's, guys I used to work with swore by their pizza. Shelley Pies in Turtle Creek is pretty good. I've been told that she was related to Vincent.

Not sure where the OP came up with Mineos as the best pizza. I prefer Aillos. Here’s my list

Fiores, Capital ave, not Peters
Betos, it’s a love it or hate it
Slice on Broadway
Harry’s, Peters
Mama Lenas, Rocks
Jetts, their square pizza is surprisingly good

Spak Bros
Caliente, their Brooklyn style, not their specialty pies
Pizzeria Davide

I was remiss to mention Caudios on Painters Run road. Claudio own Abruzzus in the South Side for years. He opened up a restaurant on Painters Run in St Clair. A hole in the wall. His food was excellent and so was his Pizza. It was the best. His son didn’t have an interest in the business. Claudio-closed during Covid. Sad. Good food.,

... I'LL TELL YA WHY the OP said that!
Wait - lemme go back and look...

... uh . .. OH! .. Wouldja look at that !
I'M the OP! ...

... I stated that Mineo's was "the best" because
they win a lot of awards for "Best Pizza"...

That's why I asked IF people still think they are.
I DO like their pizza... I get it over Mount Lebanon-way.

Surely hope THAT clears up whatever confusion there was.

Try Pizza abadamo. It’s across the street. Much better IMHO. I forgot to mention them.

No- he hung it up a few years back but his protege does it the same. There is a couple YouTube videos out there about him and one from WQED I think.
