Default The Trump Depositions

Trump will be deposed today in NY. I suspect that like his son, he’ll be claiming the 5th Amendment rather than answering questions. Of course, Trumpys will ignore his prior statement that only guilty people claim the 5th.

I agree with you, but how many times did Diaper Don say only the guilty plead the 5th, really proof of guilt in my book.

But the Gestapo didn’t raid his home. The FBI executed a search warrant for items he had continually failed to provide to the Archives, even after claiming to cooperate earlier this year and handing over some of them. The ones he held back likely were held back because of their damning nature. I am curious to find out what comes of this because I do not guy into the GOP rage spinning of this process,

Now comes the deposition. And yeah, he’s refusing to answer questions. But he did take the opportunity to verbally attack the NY AG. By his own standards, he’s guilty as shit. Otherwise, he’d hve nothing to hide.

Then at long last the tax returns.

And finally the criminal indictments.

Trumpism may be alive and well at the moment, but the “reason for the sleazing’”will be held responsible.

In other words, fellas, you chose poorly.

Trump admits (like the mob and guilty people) that he invoked the 5 rather than answer questions about his banking and valuation deals. This makes the AGs offices job easy since when they go to trial he can’t testify differently. It also creates an adverse presumption against Trump and others regarding the allegations made by the AG in their civil division action. That’s pretty much an automatic win for them.

Next will be criminal charges from the Manhattan DA or the AGs criminal division. It’ll be interesting to see how that proceeds.

Default How Dim-Retards View Our Justice System

New York Attorney General Letitia James ran for office in 2018 on a campaign promise to charge then-President Trump with crimes.

“I believe that the president of these United States can be indicted for criminal offenses,” she said in a solo campaign clip while competing to secure the Democratic Party nomination.

Gee, that sounds a lot like Stalin's secret police chief Lavrentiy Beria...

... Trump didn't answer any questions because He doesn't
trust those government officials. ... Would you?

You see how corrupt the FBI/DOJ has been.

The AG ran her campaign on "getting Trump" and actually
accused Him of "money laundering" - during one of her
talks BEFORE her election.... We'll see how THAT plays out
IF she can't find any evidence of money laundering.

uh... are they still searching for Trump/Russia collusion?
Maybe the same FBI/DOJ can now try to find Hillary's
missing e-mails.

And the "missing" cellular phones of Robert Mueller's staff.

You're acting like Goebbels.

Here is the whole quote including the context that lumpy lad omitted.

“I believe that this president is incompetent. I believe that this president is ill-equipped to serve in the highest office of this land. And I believe that he is an embarrassment to all we stand for,” she said. “He should be charged with obstructing justice. I believe that the president of these United States can be indicted for criminal offenses and we would join with law enforcement and other attorneys general across the nation in removing this president from office.”

Notice Trump was still in office. Notice she brings up obstruction as a charge because she believes a sitting president can be indicted.

I'd take the 5th, but usually a pint is more than enough.

More information you found on the eccie website.

Those "government officials" are asking questions.
You trust the guy with 30,000+ lies.

“The mob takes the Fifth Amendment,” Donald Trump said in 2016. “If you’re innocent, why are you taking the Fifth Amendment?” Today, he pleaded the Fifth."

Trump took the 5th in a civil case.

“Jurors in civil matters can draw a negative inference when a defendant invokes his or her Fifth Amendment privilege, unlike in criminal cases, where exercising the right against self-incrimination cannot be held against the defendant.”

Same bullshit, different day. Try holding your breath until that’s a reality.

Again, you keep arguing in circles, Salty.

Not to mention hijacking the discussion.

If you’re not going to believe anything anyone tells you, shows you, provides you with actual facts of — on ECCIE, in government, on TV — then why spend so much time defending the same lies and misinformation over and over and over?

Now THAT’S what I call irony. You’ve been had, badly, over and over and over for years, and still haven’t realized that’s it’s a crock of shit to try to prevent an outsider, then a president, then an outsider again, from holding power. This latest iteration is to try’n stop him from running again because they know he would crush them, for a third time, and there will be many more eyes on the ballot boxes. Grow up. The shit you hear from politicians and on the “news” isn’t reality. It’s propaganda for the weak minded, a demographic you’re clearly part of.
