Corruption on full display, the End Inflation Bill passes
by the single vote of Kamala Harris. Also known as the fuck the middle class and blow the wad on green energy bill, the senate vote was 50/50. Kameltoe was the tie breaker. You'd think when you're about to spend $700 billion dollars you'd want more than a simple majority or in this case a pseudo majority.
So, most people making less than $400,000 a year will see a tax increase and there's go another broken promise.
Remember the boondoggle named Solyndra? You haven't seen anything yet with over $400 billion in green spending.
So, who do we thank in November because the democrats own everything now. Can we blame Biden who doesn't know what flavor of ice cream he wants? How about Kameltoe? She just reads the cue cards. Maybe Chuck Schumer? He reached his limit of lies so far this year. Maybe Manchin and Sinema who took the money (in the case of Sinema) and took a worthless promise (in the case of Manchin).

Democracy at work.
Another win for Biden. He’s passed more substantive legislation in his first 2 years than most presidents in 4.

It passed only because of all the pork attached!
More pork in that bill than in an Oscar Meyer Wiener!

... For once - or maybe a second time - YOU and I
are in true agreement somewhat.
It IS democracy at work... All one-way on both sides.
Reckon this is what McConnell and some of the weak
Republicans get - for siding with the Dems on ANY legislation.
They never learn...
But hopefully the voters will learn.
Are you more rich NOW than you were two years ago??

We already have a thread about this piece of legislation.
https://eccie.net/showthread.php?t=2863731
You do understand how the Senate works, right, JD? Vice President breaks the tie.
That isn't corruption. Or "fuck the middle class (by taxing the very richest)."
It's Government 101.
Senate isn't going to flip in November. Maybe not the House either, though I figure it should. But, expect the Biden Administration to continue moving the agenda forward.
Kicking and screaming isn't going to stop it.

Gun legislation
Anti-lynching bill
Infrastructure (with having 200 Infrastructure weeks and false promises of passing infrastructure legislation)
The Inflation Reduction Bill with money to fight climate change, caps out of pocket for Medicare bills for seniors, allows Medicare to negotiate prices of drugs like every other insurer, gives the ACA 3 more years of funding, stops corporations from paying zero taxes (though the 15% isn’t actually a real number they’ll still pay less).
Veterans burn pit medical bill
Good Job Biden and Democrats. All the former president did was pass a tax cut for the wealthy. He didn’t actually care about passing legislation.

this bill certainly nourishes the left's corruption
and is another downward ratchet of the gears toward a more perfect subjugation of americans

Nobody’s explained why this was a bad thing. Just rage whining that it is “corruption.”
The US just took a long overdue first step to bring down drug prices.
I don’t imagine that affects anybody here.

Too fucking easy!
Just Google Solyndra investor and Obama fundraising bundler George Kaiser.
Textbook example of gross public corruption-green pork.
And don't forget Harry Reid, the "desert fox" of corruption, using federal money to enrich his son's solar ventures...
https://www.investors.com/politics/e...eid-rory-reid/
I could go on and on, of course...

You realize Republicans controlled the house and senate the 1st 2 years of Trump’s presidency. Had he wanted to pass infrastructure they coulda done so. They tried to repeal the ACA without any alternative legislation (because they had no better ideas). Repeal was just them being a dog catching a car but not knowing what to do after).
What other great ideas did they come up with?
